filex v0.57.7
Self-hosted file manager - Go single binary + multi-framework frontend.
Download a binary below, or pull a Docker image:
docker pull ghcr.io/brf-tech/filex:slim-v0.57.7
docker pull ghcr.io/brf-tech/filex:full-v0.57.7What changed
Added
- A tall picture can be read in the image viewer (by @chengjie in
PR #131). An image opens
fitted to the window, so a long scan or screenshot showed as a narrow strip
whose text could not be read. Two buttons beside the zoom controls change
that: Fit width makes the picture as wide as the viewer and lets it
scroll down to its last line, which stays clear of the controls, and
Original size shows it at its own pixels, scrolling either way. Zoom
steps from the chosen mode, the percentage takes the picture back to the
window, and the next image opens fitted again. The controls wrap onto two
rows on a narrow screen, and the chosen mode is announced to screen
readers.
Fixed
- The macOS, Microsoft Store and snap packages offer "Open with filex"
for every kind the app store's apps open again. These packages declare
their file types when they are built, from the store's signed catalog.
The Office editor 0.4.0 came to the store after 0.57.6 was built and opens
the older Office formats too (.doc,.xls,.ppt,.rtf, their
templates and macro-enabled forms, and the OpenDocument flat and template
files), so those packages did not offer filex for them. They now declare
62 kinds instead of 23. Windows' installer and Linux learn the kinds from
your servers while the app runs, and already had them.
