Overview

TeleAI-AutoPoster is a desktop application for automated AI-powered content generation and publishing to Telegram channels. This release introduces a complete architectural overhaul, migrating from the BGPT-Agent SDK to the standard OpenAI Python library, along with a redesigned glassmorphism dark UI and expanded provider compatibility.

What's New

Core Architecture

  • Migrated from BGPT-Agent to OpenAI SDK — The entire AI engine has been rewritten to use the official openai Python package with full OpenAI API standard compliance.
  • Custom Base URL support — Users can now specify any OpenAI-compatible API endpoint (OpenRouter, Together AI, Groq, DeepSeek, Ollama, LM Studio, vLLM, etc.).
  • Single-platform focus — Removed Bale and Rubika senders. The agent now exclusively targets Telegram for maximum reliability and maintainability.
  • Simplified timing system — Replaced the complex time-range scheduler with a single configurable interval (1–1440 minutes). The agent runs continuously until manually stopped.

User Interface

  • Glassmorphism Dark Theme — Complete UI redesign using a monochrome black-to-white spectrum with translucent glass panels, subtle borders, and modern typography.
  • SVG Icon System — All emoji icons replaced with high-quality vector SVG icons (Feather/Lucide icon set) rendered via QSvgRenderer.
  • About Tab — New tab featuring application info, technology stack, and a live GitHub developer profile card that fetches data directly from the GitHub API (avatar, name, bio, repositories, followers, join date).
  • Help Tab — Comprehensive in-app user guide covering setup, configuration, usage, and troubleshooting.
  • English-only UI — All interface text, log messages, and system prompts are now fully in English for international accessibility.

AI Engine

  • OpenAI Chat Completions API — Text generation uses the standard client.chat.completions.create() method.
  • OpenAI Images API — Image generation uses client.images.generate() with support for both base64 and URL response formats.
  • Smart Image Mode — AI evaluates each generated post and decides whether an image adds value before generating one.
  • Empty model fields by default — Text Model and Image Model fields ship empty, requiring explicit user configuration.

Improvements

  • Configuration file renamed from config.json to teleai_config.json to avoid conflicts.
  • Database file renamed from agent_database.db to teleai_database.db.
  • Removed dependencies — bgpt-agent and jdatetime are no longer required.
  • Removed components — Persian Calendar utilities, Advanced Scheduler, Balance checker, and multi-platform sender classes have been eliminated.
  • Log categories updated — Removed BGPT, BALE, RUBIKA, BILLING categories. Added OPENAI, PLATFORM categories.
  • Temporary image cleanup — Generated images are automatically deleted after successful posting.
  • Graceful shutdown — Stop button now waits up to 10 seconds for the current cycle to complete.
  • Error resilience — Transient API failures trigger a 60-second retry instead of crashing the agent.
