This version adds in-app screen sharing capability to the Bandyer SDK. Beware the in-app screensharing is available on devices running iOS 13.0 and later. Moreover the screensharing feature can record the app's main window only, so it won't record anything outside your app (this feature might be added in a future release).

Added

  • Add PKPushCredentials category exposing tokenAsString property. This utility method can be used to transform the push token data object to a string in safe manner.
  • Add in-app screen sharing capability. This feature is supported in iOS 13 and above. On devices running iOS 12 and below the screen sharing button is disabled.
  • Add featured stream. Now users can focus on a particular stream of their choice.
  • Add log statements printed in console when app misses required Privacy related usage strings in its Info.plist

Updated

  • Disable "scroll to top" feature in chat. Now when the user touches the status bar, the chat won't fetch older messages.
  • Remote screen sharing streams are now zoomable.

Fixed

  • Fixed a bug leading to app crash when hanging up a call immediately after it had been received.
  • Fixed default user's avatar image cropped in chat view controller.
  • Fixed "read/unread" icons not changing when messages were sent in the chat view controller.
  • Fixed user's status not set to "online" in chat view controller.
  • Fixed missing "last seen on" messages when the other user was offline.
  • Fixed minor UI bugs related to in-app notifications.
  • Fixed a bug that paused the call client when the application was in foreground but not active.
  • Fixed in call navigation bar style.
  • Fixed a bug that could potentially lead to reporting an incoming call to the user when a malformed VoIP notification was received
  • Fixed layout issue in whiteboard text editor. Now the text area does not overlap the status bar on devices running iOS prior to 11.0 anymore.
  • Fixed layout issue in bottom sheet that showed secondary buttons when collapsed in some circumstances
  • Fixed camera preview orientation issues
