TiLex 0.1.0

TiLex is a selection translation and screenshot OCR tool for Windows.

The name comes from Tiny + Lexicon.

This is the first release with all core features ready:

Key Features

  • Selection Indicator & Popup: Select text to display a small floating indicator next to the cursor. Click it to expand the translation panel. Indicator position and panel expand direction are fully
    customizable in Settings.
  • Screenshot OCR: Drag and select any area on the screen to recognize text. It directly utilizes the existing local WeChat OCR on your machine or your self-hosted Umi-OCR service—TiLex does not
    bundle heavy model files.
  • Side-by-Side Engines: Built-in Bing, Google, and Tencent translators work out of the box with zero configuration, allowing easy side-by-side translation comparisons.
  • Custom AI Services: Supports models compatible with OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini API formats, with a built-in latency benchmark to help you find the fastest model.
  • Skip Native Language: Automatically detects language and suppresses popups if the selected text is already in the target language.
  • Local Wordbook: Save translation results with one click. Data is stored offline in a local SQLite database.

Installation Files

Download the files under Assets below:

  • TiLex_0.1.0_x64-setup.exe: Recommended for most users. Double-click to install.
  • TiLex_0.1.0_x64_en-US.msi: MSI package for automated or silent deployment environments.

System Requirements: Windows 10 (version 1809 or higher) or Windows 11.

TiLex 是一个 Windows 上的划词翻译与截图 OCR 工具。

名字取自 Tiny（轻巧） + Lexicon（词典）。

这是第一个发布版本，核心功能已经齐备：

  • 截图 OCR：框选屏幕直接认字。识别能力直接调用本机已有的微信 OCR，或者你自己运行的本地 Umi-OCR 服务，TiLex 本身不打包笨重的模型文件。
  • 多引擎并排：内置必应、谷歌、腾讯交互翻译，免配置直接可用，方便横向比对译文。
  • 自定义 AI 服务：支持兼容 OpenAI、Anthropic、Gemini 协议的各类大模型，内置测速功能，帮你挑选延迟最低的模型。
  • 跳过母语：自动检测语种，选中的内容如果是目标语言则不弹窗打扰。
  • 本地生词本：翻译结果一键收藏，数据离线保存在本地 SQLite。

安装文件说明

下载下方 Assets 中的文件：

  • TiLex_0.1.0_x64-setup.exe：普通用户下载这个，双击直接安装。
  • TiLex_0.1.0_x64_en-US.msi：MSI 安装包，适合有静默部署需求的环境。
