Sections

The Article Sections manager lets you:

• Add
• Edit
• Delete
• Reorder
• Hide

journal sections. It consists of the following fields:

1. Name.
2. Plural - Not required, but allows you to set a plural word for your section (eg. Articles).
3. Number of Reviewers - A guideline field of how many reviewers this section requires.
4. Is Filterable - Determines if this section appears in the Filter list on the /articles/ page.
5. Sequence - The order of the section, can be sorted by drag and drop.
6. Section Editors - Section Editors who will be assignable to papers in this section.
7. Editors - Editors who will be notified of a new submission in this section.
8. Public Submissions - If true new articles can be submitted to this section, false and it will not appear.
9. Indexing - Whether this article section is passed to indexers.
