Release list
weapon_tech 0.1.2-alpha
Fix release: maps set up with kit\install.bat now actually load weapon_tech.
The installer writes your map's name into weapon_tech_loader.lua, but it also overwrote the loader's own "not set up yet" check with that name. So on every installed map the loader decided it wasn't set up and returned without loading the DLL. 0.1.2 fixes the loader. The DLL behaves the same as in 0.1.1, and your cfg works as it is.
Install / update
- Download
weapon_tech-0.1.2-alpha.zipbelow and unzip it. - Updating a map set up with 0.1.0/0.1.1: run
kit\install.bat <yourmap> -Force. It replaceszone\weapon_tech.dlland the loader Lua (the old loader is kept as a.bak); yourweapon_tech.cfgstays as it is. Or, by hand, delete theif MAP_NAME == "..." then return endblock near the top ofLoad()in your map'sui\t7\utility\weapon_tech_loader.lua.
New install: runkit\install.bat <yourmap>and add the line it prints to your CSCmain(). - Relink the map, then check
weapon_tech.lognext toBlackOps3.exe: the first line should say0.1.2-alpha.
Changes
- Kit: the loader's "not set up" check no longer gets rewritten by the installer.
Compatibility
Same as 0.1.1: BO3 Enhanced (CL 20659811) and the current Steam retail exe (build 24784313).

weapon_tech 0.1.1-alpha
Fix release: weapon_tech now works on the current Steam BO3 exe.
0.1.0-alpha had its retail addresses for the previous Steam build (December 2025). Steam has since shipped a new
BlackOps3.exe (Steam build 24784313), and on it 0.1.0 logged "unsupported exe" and installed nothing. 0.1.1 has the
addresses for the current exe. Nothing else changed, and your cfg works as it is.
Install / update
- Download
weapon_tech-0.1.1-alpha.zipbelow and unzip it. - Updating: replace
weapon_tech.dllin your map'szone\folder (yourweapon_tech.cfgstays as it is).
New install: runkit\install.bat <yourmap>and add the line it prints to your CSCmain(). - Check
weapon_tech.lognext toBlackOps3.exe: the first line should say0.1.1-alpha, and a later line
image is the retail exe (SizeOfImage 0x1D75BC00, TimeDateStamp 0x6A7B6355).
Changes
- Retail addresses moved to the current Steam exe (SizeOfImage
0x1D75BC00, TimeDateStamp0x6A7B6355). The
previous retail build is no longer supported: Steam doesn't serve it any more. - Kick return on retail: its install check no longer depends on where one unrelated engine function sits, so it
keeps working when that function moves.
Compatibility
- BO3 Enhanced (CL 20659811) and the current Steam retail exe (build 24784313). Any other exe: it installs nothing.
- Standalone: no dependency on T7Overcharged. If your map also loads T7Overcharged, that needs a version that knows
the current exe too.
MIT licensed.
