First version released! Based on the original 0.1.1 by developer ryderclanky, this release includes several new features and improvements:
Resolutions below 720p in the launcher ✔
(540p and 360p)
A checkbox to show or hide the on-screen FPS counter ✔
A mods menu similar to the one found in Cemu ✔
Increased compatibility with mods used for BOTW via Cemu ✔
A graphics settings button in the launcher: no need to go through the setup process again (previously, you had to select "settings run setup again"); now, simply click "Graphics" to adjust everything. ✔
Areas for improvement and notes:
There has been no significant performance gain in this version, even with reduced graphics settings. This indicates that the bottleneck runs deeper than a simple GPU or graphics-related issue; it will take some time for me to investigate the root cause and determine how to address or fix it.
I am not yet certain if a solution is possible, given that my own hardware setup is quite modest, but I will keep trying. If I encounter a limitation that cannot be overcome, I will let you know. 👍
Don't forget to click "Watch" and "Releases"—an automatic update checker hasn't been implemented in the application yet, but it is on the roadmap.
Additional information (applicable to any release)
To get started: extract the zip file, run BotW-Native-Setup.exe or BotWLauncher.exe, and specify the location of your game dump.
You must provide your own, legally obtained game dump. No game files, keys, or assets are included.
