Personal profiles bring your bio, reading overview, currently-reading books, ideas, and reviews together, with separate sharing controls.
Shared-library activity brings new books, versions, content updates, and reader contributions into one filterable timeline.
Added
Editable profile bios and public/private profile settings. Shared profiles are available to other signed-in users; reading overviews, currently-reading books, and activity can each be shared independently, subject to current access permissions.
Personal activity timelines for ideas and reviews. Your own timeline includes private entries; other readers see only shared content they can currently access.
Shared-library activity for new books, versions, content updates, ideas, and reviews, with filters and expandable batch records. Deletion and restoration records are visible only to library owners and administrators.
Profile links from ideas, reviews, comments, replies, likes, notifications, and instance-user and library-member lists.
Changed
Not on a shelf and Uncategorized move to the top of their respective sidebar lists and hide when empty, keeping the navigation tabs in place when switching views. Removing the last book leaves the current empty view open.
The notification popover uses a more compact layout, and its bell stays highlighted while it is open.
Inline idea editing groups visibility and image tools together, with theme-aware Save buttons and actions that wrap together in narrow panels.
Fixed
Settings retain the selected section, user-management tab, and library when returning from a user profile or refreshing the page, without adding a history entry for each tab switch.
Reader startup no longer reports a Bookdock font timeout for fonts controlled by the book. Bookdock font overrides still wait for the fonts needed by visible text.
Security
Docker images and CI now use Node.js 22.23.4 with upstream runtime security fixes.
Upgrade notes
Back up the complete DATA_DIR before upgrading. Migration 0055 adds activity history and imports existing shared ideas and reviews using their original publication times; it does not reconstruct earlier book additions, updates, or deletions. Downgrading requires the pre-upgrade data with the matching previous release.
Pull the updated Bookdock image and recreate the container, or rebuild from updated source, to receive the Node.js runtime update. In-app updates replace application files only and do not upgrade Node.js.
