Repository navigation
2.0.2 is the "adopt the other machine's checkout without a fight" release.
Every fix here was found and proven overnight on the founder fleet while
landing four real repositories from one machine onto another.
Fixed
rbox git resolve <repo> take-theirsworks again on real repositories:
the confirmation token no longer changes under you while the background
sync is running, a repository with mixed-case branch names no longer
refuses its own unchanged confirmation, and a repository that had never
established a sync baseline is no longer blocked by stale bookkeeping from
an earlier state of the same machine.- A repository with more than 256 branches can sync again (the per-branch
bookkeeping limit is now 2,048). rbox recoverrefuses to overwrite commits made on another machine —
it only repairs history this machine authored, and says so.- Receivers no longer pause a repository as "local changes" when its index
is simply pristine; the paused-repo list now shows real work only. - "Repos waiting on you" entries for directories you have since ignored
retire automatically (131 stale entries cleared on the founder desktop),
including whole ignored trees. rbox statusandrbox doctorwarn when one directory suddenly dominates
what rbox is about to sync, and name the one-line ignore that skips it.- Pushes skip re-uploading the multi-megabyte ref index when the server
already has it (up to 99% fewer bytes on edits and renames). - Git ref cleanup after a sync runs as one git call per repository instead
of one per branch (8× faster on branch-heavy repositories).
