Mudstrider mixin crash hotfix

  • Removed the MixinEntityMudstrider config, refmap, and mixin class.
  • net.minecraft.entity.Entity loads during mod construction, so a late MixinBooter mixin cannot target it. It caused MixinTargetAlreadyLoadedException on client startup.
  • Mudstrider now probes the slow block's onEntityCollision factor once per block, then pre-multiplies player motion during LivingUpdateEvent.
  • LivingUpdateEvent runs before doBlockCollisions, so the block's own slowdown multiplies the motion right back to normal in the same tick.
  • Works for soul sand and modded mud/silt with any slowdown factor, no vanilla mixin required.
  • Cobweb handling is unchanged.
  • Ground Sweep direct pickup, 2 second delay, ItemPhysic compatibility, and creative skip remain from 1.0.15.

Install the same jar on both client and server. Minecraft 1.12.2 Forge / Cleanroom.

Ground Sweep, ItemPhysic, and Mudstrider cleanup

  • Ground Sweep no longer relies on EntityItem.onCollideWithPlayer, which ItemPhysic customPickup cancels.
  • It now does its own delayed pickup after the vanilla 40-tick (2 second) window.
  • Pickup respects owner rules, partial inventory adds, Forge ItemPickupEvent, PlayerItemPickupEvent, and pickup stats. Leftover stack counts stay on the ground.
  • Creative players are skipped, so dropped items are not voided by a full creative inventory.
  • Removed the old soul sand 2.5x motion multiplier and soul sand/mud speed attribute boost. The doBlockCollisions mixin restores exact pre-collision motion now, so the old compensation would double the speed.
  • Cobweb handling keeps its own flag clear and motion reset.

Install the same jar on both client and server. Minecraft 1.12.2 Forge / Cleanroom.

Ground Sweep, Mudstrider, Longdraw, and Carnage config

Ground Sweep

  • No longer force-adds items through a custom inventory fallback.
  • Respects the vanilla 40-tick (2 second) pickup delay.
  • Disabled in creative mode, so a full creative inventory can no longer void dropped items.
  • Pressing Q now leaves the item on the ground for the normal pickup window.

Mudstrider

  • Restores horizontal motion after block collisions instead of applying a partial speed boost.
  • Cancels soul sand and modded mud/silt slowdown at any multiplier, including BOP-style 0.875-height mud.
  • Cobweb handling is unchanged.

Longdraw

  • Overdraw now accelerates arrows up to 2x speed for real range.
  • Damage is divided by the acceleration factor before the arrow is sped up, so longer range does not multiply damage.
  • The overdraw damage multiplier still applies separately.

Rune: Carnage

  • Max-stack speed is now configurable per level: carnageSpeedLevel1, carnageSpeedLevel2, carnageSpeedLevel3.
  • Defaults: 1.125x, 1.25x, 1.625x.
  • Level III now matches Swifter Slashes V on a sword.
  • Per-stack values are derived from the configured per-level max speed.

Install the same jar on both client and server. Minecraft 1.12.2 Forge / Cleanroom.

Rune: Carnage III and real Longdraw draw time

Rune: Carnage

  • +5.5 percent attack speed per level, +1 percent per stack.
  • At max stacks: level I 1.125x, level II 1.25x, level III 1.375x.
  • Exactly matches Swifter Slashes I/II/III on a sword, so Carnage III is no longer stronger than Swifter Slashes III.
  • Old config values migrate automatically.

Longdraw

  • Full draw now takes 30 ticks instead of 20.
  • The bow model pull animation and the first-person hand animation both follow the 30-tick timeline.
  • Releasing before 30 ticks fires a proportionally weaker arrow.
  • Overdraw still ramps to 250 percent at 50 ticks with the muzzle blast and pierce behavior.
  • In vanilla this was hardcoded as draw ticks divided by 20 in ItemBow's pull property and in ItemRenderer's first-person BOW transform. Both are now Longdraw aware.

Rune: Carnage rebalance

  • Rune: Carnage now grants +10 percent attack speed per level and +2.74 percent per stack.
  • Level III with 21 stacks reaches 1.875x the weapon base attack speed, matching Swifter Slashes VII on a sword.
  • Swifter Slashes X equivalence was too strong, so this returns the ceiling to VII.
  • Old doubled config values migrate automatically.
  • Docs, README, CurseForge text, config comments, and lang updated.

Bullseye reroll

  • Hitting the bullseye marker now consumes it and immediately rolls a fresh marker on the same enemy.
  • Level IV has a 100 percent placement chance, so a new bullseye is always placed after every successful bonus hit.
  • Lower levels reroll at their normal 25 percent per level chance.
  • Docs, README, and language text updated.

Autofire draw requirement

  • Autofire now needs at least 60 percent bow draw (12 of 20 ticks) to spawn trailing arrows.
  • Weaker taps fire a single normal arrow at full damage and do not apply the Autofire 60 percent per-arrow damage multiplier.
  • Enchantment description, README, CurseForge text, and lang files updated.

Autofire damage, Bullseye consumption, and Carnage stacking

  • Autofire arrows no longer get swallowed in packs with PotionCore. PotionCore keeps its own projectile invulnerability timer in entity NBT and cancels arrow damage even when vanilla hurt resistance is zero. Every autofire, Pierceful, Longdraw, and Ballistic hit now clears that timer first, so all arrows in a volley deal damage.
  • Bullseye markers are now consumed by the qualifying hit and cleared on clients immediately. The same hit cannot re-roll placement on the spot it just consumed.
  • Rune: Carnage stacks now actually build. Vanilla resets the swing timer before damage, so the old getCooledAttackStrength check always read about zero inside the hurt event. Full-charge detection now uses ticks since the previous landed hit.
  • Rune: Carnage values doubled: +20 percent attack speed per level plus +13.34 percent per stack. At level III with 21 stacks this reaches about 4.4x the weapon base attack speed.
  • Older Carnage config defaults migrate automatically.
  • Dev runServer now passes the nogui argument.

Autofire, Tether, Bullseye, and registry removal

  • Autofire now deals each arrow hit manually and stops the arrow, so a failed vanilla damage check cannot reflect trailing arrows back at the player.
  • Scavenger's Habit and Low Sweep are fully deleted: classes removed, registration removed, table tiers removed, config keys removed, JEI entries gone, and all documentation references removed.
  • Curse of the Tether now clears the player cursor even when the removed chestplate is stack-equal to the restored one. No more cursor duplicate.
  • Bullseye now checks the arrow travel ray against the moving marker area. Hitting a different body part does not count.
  • Voodoo cannot be applied to shovels or pickaxes.
  • Rune: Carnage tier III now reaches 2.25x base attack speed, matching Swifter Slashes X for a standard weapon.
  • Existing worlds will show a Forge missing-registry prompt for the two removed enchantments once. Back up the world and confirm the prompt.

Dirty water, Feathered Draw, and Rune: Carnage corrections

  • Desalination Mesh now prevents 85 percent of Thirsty and Parasites applications instead of removing effects after they appear.
  • Added a SimpleDifficulty ThirstUtilInternal mixin that marks dirty-water drinking, including right-click water and unfiltered canteens.
  • Added PotionApplicableEvent protection for canteens, Tough As Nails drinks, dirty water items, and right-click water sources.
  • Feathered Draw now adjusts client movement input only while a Feathered Draw bow is actively charging. There is no persistent movement speed modifier, so swapping, disconnecting, dying, or other edge cases cannot leave a speed buff behind.
  • Rune: Carnage is now percentage-based from the weapon's base attack speed: +10 percent per enchantment level and +4.29 percent per stack, reaching about 2.2x at tier III with 21 stacks. No flat attack-speed numbers.
  • Updated README, enchantment reference, configuration, and CurseForge documentation.
