Release list
Lens 0.47_1
- pause a group: every device with a tag (Devices, with that tag chosen) or
of one person (Who's home) at once. Each is judged as if clicked alone --
the device in your hand and protected networks stay out, with the reason,
shown before the click -- and the rest go into the alias in one write;
each still ends on its own time and can be resumed alone
Install or update as root on the firewall:
fetch -o - https://raw.githubusercontent.com/BxnnyG/opnsense-lens/master/tools/install.sh | shThe signed feed at https://bxnnyg.github.io/opnsense-lens/ serves this version; the package is attached below.

Lens 0.46_1
- tiles for OpenVPN, IPsec and CARP, each only where configured and only
judging what should be up on its own: an instance that does not run, a
client not through to its server, a site-to-site tunnel without an SA, a
CARP address in INIT, or master for some addresses and backup for others;
road warriors and tunnels that wait for traffic are listed, never a fault - the remaining pages in one look: settings line up and fit a phone, data
source verdicts are pills, device names on DNS look like names, stacked
figures say what they are on a phone - Privacy lists everything Lens keeps, now with the settled hours and the
firewall's own public address and package audit; "delete everything"
deletes those two files too
Install or update as root on the firewall:

Lens 0.45_2
- a phone that rotates its private MAC is one row again when the old MAC is
still listed for a few minutes beside the new one: FreeBSD keeps an ARP
entry up to 20 minutes, and a 5-minute overlap at a rotation -- or two
windows touching to the second -- split one Pixel into two rows
Install or update as root on the firewall:
fetch -o - https://raw.githubusercontent.com/BxnnyG/opnsense-lens/master/tools/install.sh | shThe signed feed at https://bxnnyg.github.io/opnsense-lens/ serves this version; the package is attached below.

Lens 0.45_1
- the health row, the System page and Networks ask their sources at once
instead of one after another - Networks sums settled hours per interface instead of joining every time
(schema 14: after the upgrade every hour settles once more, 240 per harvest) - the Security tile now really reads the audit:
pkg audit -R json-compact
took "json-compact" for a package name and answered for nothing; it is
--raw=json-compact, and the round showed it
Install or update as root on the firewall:
fetch -o - https://raw.githubusercontent.com/BxnnyG/opnsense-lens/master/tools/install.sh | shThe signed feed at https://bxnnyg.github.io/opnsense-lens/ serves this version; the package is attached below.

Lens 0.44_1
- quiet devices are home again: a server that says nothing for a while drops
out of the ARP table, and Who's home showed gaps it never had. An hour in
which its address moved traffic now counts -- only between two sightings of
the same device on the same address, never when another device held it, and
the hours figure says how much of it only traffic proves - a Security tile: which installed packages FreeBSD's vulnerability database
on this box names, and how old that database is -- checked by the collector
when the database or the packages change, never fetched by Lens (that stays
System: Firmware: Status, Run an audit). A zero-day is in no database; the
tile says what is known

Lens 0.43_2
The first release on GitHub. The signed feed moves from 0.31_1 to here; what came in between:
- A front page for the firewall — one sentence and a tile per area (internet, system, interfaces, temperature, updates, services, certificates; DynDNS, SMART, WireGuard, NetBird, Tailscale where installed), and Reporting: Lens: System with history from OPNsense's own records
- Networks with their ports — link, speed, errors, and who is on each network now
- The internet line — public address beside the WAN's (NAT, CGNAT), an uptime strip in quarter hours you can hover
- DNS by service — which devices asked for Netflix, Steam, WhatsApp …, from v2fly's domain lists
- Names people recognise — from the box's own resolver, else vendor and address
- Pause a device — until a time you pick, with a reason shown in Firewall: Rules; rule and alias in a category "Lens"
- One look on every page, a search on every page (
Ctrl K) that also finds OPNsense's menu, times and dates as you set them - Faster pages — one collector start per page instead of up to seven; the 30-day event view on a large store from 3.97 s to 0.32 s
- Runs on OPNsense 26.1 and 26.7; every version passes a scripted round on both
This version:
- the first GitHub release, and the signed feed brought up from 0.31_1: every
fix and page since, listed below, now installs and updates from it - this description says what Lens is now -- a front page for the firewall,
not only its devices -- and names the hourly public-address question
