The RFC states that the introduction of a feature into a specification is one of the most important aspects and that the categorization doesn't align with the baseline initiative.
But it doesn't say why this was decided.
Aligning with baseline/web-features seems to have so many positive traits that I do wonder why this isn't used?
shared context and mental model of when a feature is real and ready
shared naming and definition of features
shared documentation effort
not having to explain all the nuances of specification vs implementation vs interop all over again
Maybe @ddbeck or @foolip also have some thoughts on this?
