自定义固件开发者及 Windows 安装包制作者：Caimankekw。

原创开发代码及说明采用 AGPL-3.0-only；完整许可证及范围见 LICENSE 和 NOTICE。安装包包含完整许可证、双语范围说明及源码链接。原厂固件、恢复的原始机器码和第三方组件不由本项目重新授权。

本次 Release 同时提供两个独立 Windows 安装包，每包附英文 README.md 和中文 README.zh-CN.md。安装包使用原厂 D3 更新界面；这些是自定义实验固件，并非 Profoto 官方发布，也没有厂商签名。原厂组件的版权与许可声明保留。

运行所选 EXE，将完整更新器解压到当前用户目录，无需 Python；安装向导不会自动安装驱动或刷写。按包内说明关灯、取下电池并连接 USB，在更新界面确认设备及目标版本后手动开始。写入及读回完成后断开 USB、装回电池并开机，首次内部功率板更新期间保持供电。REV5 迁移旧 BOOST 设置时会回落到 X，需要手动重新选择 BOOST。

验证包括：两个独立开发分支重建的 BIN / DFU / 功率板与冻结版本完全一致；DfuSe 地址、长度、CRC 和内嵌功率板核对；更新器资源与代码修改白名单；每版 8 项损坏注入检查；30 项原运行文件完整；安装包静态解包逐文件核对及开发者署名核验。

本次封装没有运行安装器/更新器或执行新的实机刷写。以上是离线验证，不代表全部硬件版本、色温、HSS 均匀性或电气余量均已实测。REV5 的回电缩时 20% 是开发目标，不是实测保证。

Custom firmware developer and Windows package author: Caimankekw.

Original development code and documentation use AGPL-3.0-only; see LICENSE and NOTICE for the complete text and scope. Each installer includes the license, bilingual scope notice, and source links. Original firmware, recovered original machine code, and third-party components are not relicensed by this project.

This release contains two separate Windows installers, each with English and Simplified Chinese READMEs. They reuse the original D3 updater interface. These are experimental custom firmware packages, not official Profoto releases or vendor-signed packages. Original component notices and licenses are retained.

  • REV1: NON-X / X recharge selection, preserving the 250 / 500 Ws model families. Firmware metadata is D3-RC1; ABOUT retains D3.
  • REV5: NON-X / X / BOOST, home-screen selection indication, and ECO with HSS adaptation. BOOST and ECO are limited to 500 Ws Plus models. Firmware and ABOUT identify RC5. Migrated old BOOST settings fall back to X until explicitly reselected.

Run the chosen EXE to extract the complete updater into your user folder; Python is not required. The installer does not automatically install drivers or flash a device. Follow the included README, turn the light off, remove its battery, and connect USB. Confirm the device and target version before manually starting the update. After writing and readback finish, disconnect USB, reinstall the battery, and maintain power during the first internal power-board update.

Offline checks passed: independent source builds reproduce all six frozen firmware artifacts; DfuSe address/length/CRC and embedded power-board checks; updater resource and code-change whitelist; eight corruption-rejection checks per version; all 30 original runtime files present; installer extraction compared file by file; developer attribution verified. Neither installer nor updater was executed during packaging, and no new hardware flash was performed. These checks do not establish electrical margin, universal hardware compatibility, color temperature, or HSS uniformity. The REV5 20% recycle-time reduction is a development target, not a measured guarantee.
