Lens 0.2.3 — first open-source preview

A native macOS HTTP/HTTPS debugging proxy with SwiftUI, local request/response
inspection, traffic editing, multiple sessions and Android/iPhone setup guides.

Download: Lens-0.2.3-macOS-arm64-development.dmg (62,576,274 bytes).
Requires macOS 14+ and Apple Silicon. Drag Lens.app to Applications and eject
the image. Read the signing notice before opening.

Signing status

Experimental prerelease: ad-hoc signed, not Developer ID signed or Apple
notarized. macOS may block opening a downloaded copy. Strict code-signature
integrity is verified; this does not establish Gatekeeper acceptance. A stable,
notarized release is not claimed. Source build instructions are in the README.

What's included

• Native inspection with text/JSON/XML/hex, multipart and WebSocket viewers.
• Rewrite, maps, editable breakpoints, Compose/Replay/Repeat and sessions.
• Android and iPhone/iPad onboarding and opt-in LAN proxy without device allowlists.
• Independent MIT source, English/Chinese README, real UI screenshots, docs and CI.
• DMG integrity verification after read-only mounting and a fresh application copy.

Verification

Locally passed: 340 engine checks, 13 actual packaged HTTP/TLS checks, 5 process
attribution checks and 7 ZIP/DMG packaging regressions. Actual 0.2.3 UI checks
verified controlled POST Request headers/body and Response headers/JSON, guide
presentation, Stop retaining details, Save and Quit, and listener/process cleanup.
Existing Mac HTTP/HTTPS/SOCKS proxy settings were preserved.

This run used an existing manual-client profile and explicit controlled client
traffic. Fresh-profile ordinary Mac system routing and physical Android/iOS
device journeys were not exercised. Pinned apps can refuse HTTPS inspection.
The earlier Android browser certificate report is not claimed resolved.
