Codex Command Extensions v0.1.2
Codex Command Extensions 0.1.2
Fixed native command autocomplete bypassing registered replacements. Accepting /resume from the native popup with Enter or Tab now opens Folders when its provider is registered, just like typing the full command. /resumedbg still opens the original picker; /resume THREAD_ID remains native.
Validated with 20 host tests, clean-package checks, and real isolated Codex 0.163 terminal checks for full typing, Tab/Enter acceptance, and the original-picker alias.
Install the .tgz asset, then open a new Codex terminal; existing sessions and phone pairing stay running. The -directory.zip is a submission draft, not an official directory listing. See submission preparation.
Codex Command Extensions v0.1.1
codex-terminal-extensions 0.1.1
Public name updated to Codex Command Extensions; existing CLI, package IDs and registry paths remain compatible. Added official-directory draft ZIP packaging, listing metadata, icons, and public data/license information.
Install the built .tgz for normal use. The -directory.zip asset is a draft for the OpenAI submission portal, not an approved or published listing. See submission preparation for prerequisites and remaining account/review steps.
Requires Node 24+ and compatible official Codex interfaces. The command host requires Python 3 on Linux/macOS; Windows terminal support remains unavailable.
Codex Terminal Extensions v0.1.0
Initial public release of the shared terminal host for modular Codex CLI extensions.
- One command registry and user-local launcher, with independent provider manifests.
- Generic autocomplete, keyboard routing, retained PTY views, overlay handoff, and native aliases.
- Preserves tested terminal scrolling, titles, per-view input modes, resize, and cleanup.
- Safe migration of an unchanged previous launcher; unregistering one feature preserves others.
- Remote0.2.0 registers /qr without requiring Folders. Folders registers its browser and aliases independently.
Requires Node24+, Python3, and native Codex CLI. The current PTY backend supports Linux/macOS; Linux/Codex0.163.0 is tested. Windows needs a separate backend. Feature CLI/MCP tools do not require the host.
Install the built .tgz asset, not the automatic source ZIP. SHA256SUMS verifies the download.
