What's New

  • Redeem plan keys in Account settings.
  • Copy an existing shared clip link from its Library tile without uploading the clip again.
  • Control clip replay over OSC and refresh microphones from recording settings.
  • Light mode has its own setting, and the color editor uses a wider layout with previews that match the applied color.
  • Hover previews load faster, and clip bitrate appears beside resolution and frame rate.
  • Audio recordings now use Opus by default.

Fixes

  • Video playback starts faster after launch by reusing VLC's plugin cache.
  • Audio backlog no longer makes later clips fail. Recording notices remain visible while ClypDat is in the tray.
  • Webcam errors name the app holding the camera; diagnostic exports include fatal crashes, Windows crash events, and worker logs.
  • Theme pickers show the applied color, invalid OSC port values aren't applied, and AV1's smaller-file option starts unticked.
  • Update checks prefer signed release metadata from ClypDat's mirror, avoiding repeated GitHub release-asset downloads.
