Decision Tree / What do I need? Description: Help residents/applicants to better understand what they will need when submitting or applying for permits via a decision tree structure. Benefit: Providing transparency to applicants better prepares and improves the process for both parties.

Improve Permit Turn around Times / Permit n Seconds? Description: Build a solution that identifies where gaps are in expediting permits, shows a timeline and improves the time it takes for each party to move the process along in a timely, efficient and accurate manner. Benefit: Fastest processing times

Identify vacant properties needing fencing. / Vacant to Active? Description: Create a solution that lends visibility to identify all city, county, CRA, owned by investor property including owner, zoning and other property information. Benefit: Quickly identify and respond to vacant or abandoned property that can be used for re-development.

GitHub Issues works just like any other commenting system on the Internet:

First, you'll need to create a github account.

Then you have two options: (1) comment on an existing idea (a.k.a. "issue"), or (2) create a new idea.
If you see an idea that you're interested in, click on it, read the discussion and then add your thoughts to the bottom of the discussion thread. If you don't see the idea you have in mind, add a new one. Someone from the Code for Miami Staff will respond with some questions or feedback.
