Security

  • The 2.2.10 pod infra PID-file refusal is now on the v2.3 line. Native Podman pod creation refuses every nonempty infra_conmon_pid_file, matching the existing container-create refusal of conmon_pid_file. A caller can no longer choose the host file conmon writes the infra container's PID to. Ordinary pod creation is unchanged, and direct and versioned routes have unit and middleware regressions. The 2.2.10 entry below describes the source and client-capture evidence; no live-daemon reproduction is claimed.

Changed

  • Carries the stable line's npm updates and deduped lockfile, authenticated Docker Hub pulls in the security workflow, and current release/roadmap metadata. The BuildKit frontend mediation, companion runner and /v2 module path remain intact. This forward-port keeps the existing v2.3 GA date, no earlier than 2026-10-23; rc.8 still needs a fresh four-hour soak and TLS scan on its exact head.
