MOSS Character Studio 1.4.0 — Single-pass reference cards
Reference Character Studio now generates the portrait, anatomy reference and clothed front/back together in one sampling pass. The release includes face/outfit previews, personal-library uploads, exact JSON prompt preview, shared skin controls and privacy coverage selection.
- Final LoRA, three examples and 51-second operation recording
- Reference setup: requires ComfyUI 0.43.0 plus the bundled checksum-checked core extension. The installer is explicit and preserves backups.
- Default recipe: 25 steps, CFG3, Euler/sgm_uniform, AuraFlow shift5, SLG22, LoRA1.0. The original16-step text workflow remains separate.
- 70 tests /229 subtests passed. Stock-core patch application/readback, repeat installation and modified-file refusal passed. The packaged runtime reproduces the selected-version example with identical RGB pixels.
The workflow includes a Hugging Face download link for the selected LoRA. The small MediaPipe landmark dependency downloads to a shared models directory with size/SHA-256 verification. No local training-directory paths are required.
Manager's upstream Git catalog already contains MOSS Card Layout and Wardrobe. Registry upload is handled by the publishing action; Registry review status is tracked separately from successful upload.
Character Studio 1.1.0
Character Studio replaces large prompt edits with separate face, character, outfit and four-panel controls.
- 893 searchable face descriptions and 1,407 outfits with automatic image previews.
- Upload personal faces/outfits, edit names/tags/descriptions, remove and undo.
- Personal images remain outside the node package and survive updates.
- Explicit appearance controls remove competing source details; four-panel/headless/privacy rules remain separate.
- A spaced native text-generation workflow is included. Existing wardrobe workflows remain supported.
Update the node pack once, restart ComfyUI and refresh the browser. This workflow generates new people from descriptions; it does not preserve the identity of a selected face. Failed reference-editing models are not part of this release. Existing MOSS model integration and weights are still required.
Validation: native generation, frontend/API parity, user upload/edit/remove/undo, save/reload, and related regression tests.
Wardrobe 1.0.1 - Names, tags and organized workflow
Clothing cards now show readable names and garment, color, material and detail tags. Combine tags or search words to find outfits; internal IDs are hidden. The example workflow has five distinct work areas with no node overlaps. Generation inputs and four-panel headless/privacy instructions are preserved.
MOSS Card Layout and Wardrobe 1.0.0
Standalone ComfyUI nodes with a bundled 1,407-outfit prompt catalog. Preview images download on demand from the original gallery and are SHA-256 checked and cached. Install via Git URL in ComfyUI Manager, restart ComfyUI and refresh the browser. Includes a portable example workflow. MOSS model loader and weights remain separate dependencies.
