本次更新重制登录流程，加入通行密钥支持，整合内置浏览器与工具标签页，并改善消息操作、网页预览和模型权限体验。

新增与改进

• **登录与通行密钥：**采用居中分步登录界面，支持密码、邮箱验证码、找回密码和通行密钥；账户设置可添加和移除通行密钥。加入入场、步骤切换及等待动画，并适配减少动态效果偏好。
• **统一工具侧栏：**网页、终端、变更、技能等工具在内置浏览器的同一标签栏中打开。关闭最后一个标签页会收起侧栏，保留其它标签页的状态。
• **网页预览：**网页任务完成后提供本地预览卡片，在对话右侧直接打开；支持选择网页元素并附到输入框。
• **消息操作：**新增单条消息显示记录删除与沙化动画；删除按钮位于复制按钮左侧。用户和 AI 消息的时间与操作栏统一在悬停或聚焦时显示，触屏轻触消息显示，生成中的 AI 回复隐藏操作栏。
• **工作记录：**ToCode 与 ToChat 工作模式共用对话记录；普通聊天独立保存。左侧采用统一对话列表。
• **官方模型：**支持动态模型目录、渠道、订阅权限和 Credits 价格更新，完善 Grok、GLM 与 Claude 模型的显示和接入。支持豆包工作模式的免费日限额及订阅 Credits 计费。
• **工具和额度界面：**补充工具名称、输入输出和授权提示翻译；剩余额度使用整数百分比，调整重置卡到期说明，修正 Pro 额度窗口显示。
• **更新与账号：**加入签名前端资源更新、空闲切换及失败回退；补充使用准则入口、临时风控限制与申诉入口。付费权益和申诉规则保持服务端现有政策。

修复

• 修复首条消息发送后偶尔不显示、模型目录请求失败后列表丢失的问题。
• 修复桌面模型请求未正确继承系统网络代理的问题。
• 修复非 Git 文件夹的变更预览，以及侧栏内容高度、间距、开关动画和最后标签页关闭行为。
• 修复复制按钮只在气泡正文悬停时出现、移到消息底部就消失的问题。
• 移除模型切换提示和无权限模型旁重复的套餐文字，保留草稿和输入框内容。

消息删除针对显示记录，不撤销已执行的工具操作，也不回滚智能体上下文或检查点。通行密钥验证在支持 WebAuthn 的系统浏览器中完成。

• Delete individual displayed messages with a sand animation. Delete sits to the left of Copy; timestamps and actions share hover/focus visibility. Tap messages on touchscreens; in-progress replies hide their actions.

• Fix missing first messages, disappearing model catalogs, system-proxy inheritance, non-Git change previews, sidebar sizing and message-control hover behaviour.

Deleting a displayed message does not undo tools, agent context or checkpoints. Passkeys use a WebAuthn-capable system browser.

• Add Doubao Seed 2.1 Lite to ToChat chat mode. No subscription is required and Agent Credits are not consumed.
• Understand text, images, audio and video; use the model's maximum context by default and choose low, medium or high reasoning effort.
• Audio supports WAV, MP3, FLAC, AAC and M4A, up to 10 MB per file. Video supports MP4, MOV and AVI, up to 20 MB per file.
• Add a localised tooltip to the Free label, explaining that the model is permanently free for ToChat chat mode and does not consume the user's quota. The tooltip closes when the pointer leaves the label.

Tora v1.0.6 opens built-in models to ToCode without requiring a personal model API key.

What's new

• Redeem an Afdian receipt number in Settings → Account. Sponsor lists now live in account settings. The account menu shows rolling-window percentages, release times and an upgrade appropriate to the current plan; Ultra and Ultra x hide the upgrade entry.

• Add a Built-in models group to the ToCode model picker, with DeepSeek Flash, Gemini 3.8 Flash and GPT-6.1 Sol. Keep custom models and existing conversation selections.

• Support model-specific reasoning effort, images and ToCode's existing terminal, file, MCP and agent tools. Existing permissions and workspace grants remain enforced.

• Ordinary ToChat chat is free of work quotas. ToChat work and ToCode share subscription credits in rolling windows, with separate input, cached-input and output rates. The UI displays remaining percentages. Six monthly plans support Afdian payment verification; extra-credit purchases are not enabled.

• Fix the desktop ToChat runtime configuration that still forced DeepSeek after selecting Gemini or GPT.

• Fix automatic naming, child-agent request IDs and review continuations so auxiliary calls do not conflict with the main request or close the work flow prematurely.

• Clear local built-in runtime credentials on logout. Newly synchronised account tokens remain in runtime memory instead of being written in plaintext to the local config file.

• Recover fast replies completed before a new session attaches its event stream, avoiding missing replies and a stuck thinking state.

• Localise the built-in group, shared quota hints and reasoning-effort labels.

Select a model from Built-in models in the ToCode composer. The upstream GPT token continues to use the default group; the codex 0.07 tier is not promised.

What's new

• Add Gemini 3.8 Flash and GPT-6.1 Sol as built-in ToChat models, alongside DeepSeek Flash. Switch models while idle; existing conversations keep their original selection.
• Gemini offers low, medium and high reasoning effort. GPT-6.1 Sol offers low, medium, high, extra high and max. Medium is preserved instead of being read as high.
• GPT-6.1 Sol supports streaming replies and tool calling for web search and work tasks.

Tora v1.0.4 improves localisation, permission controls and release-note visibility.

What's new

• Change permission modes during a conversation. The new mode applies to subsequent tool actions, while operations that require approval continue to wait for confirmation.
• Fix overlapping welcome headings when switching between Chat / Work and ToCode / ToChat. The ToCode greeting is now “What should Tora build?”.
• Localise welcome headings and mode controls across supported languages.
• Separate UK / US English and Hong Kong / Taiwan Traditional Chinese options, add country or region flags, and preserve legacy language preferences.
• Fix the language selector's close button on desktop.
• Show the matching GitHub Release notes during updates and once after upgrading. View them again from About; cached notes remain available offline.

Tora v1.0.3 improves chat and task navigation, adds desktop chat-history import, and updates the official ToChat workspace.

What's new

• Import local Codex and Claude Code conversations on desktop by scanning or selecting JSON/JSONL files. Preview before importing; message text and timestamps are preserved and duplicate imports are avoided.
• Group tool calls within each reply into one expandable summary, remove tool-card borders, and retain individual details and execution states.
• Fix New Task reopening the previous conversation. The first message creates and selects its own conversation.
• Enlarge the ToCode/ToChat mode trigger, make its menu more compact, and add account sign-out.
• Improve recovery from temporary authentication-service failures, model synchronization, and conversation switching.
• Improve the web ToChat layout with horizontal spacing, visible send times, mobile navigation, iOS keyboard handling, and complete multilingual copy.

Tora v1.0.2 is now available, introducing our first Windows x64 installer alongside the universal macOS package.

What's new

• Unified the brand as Tora while maintaining compatibility with accounts, local data, and update paths from earlier versions.
• Added support for 14 languages across the desktop app and official website, including a language picker, system-language detection, and Arabic right-to-left layouts. Message translation follows the interface language.
• Introduced a frosted-glass startup screen, configurable theme backgrounds and interface animations, and improvements to the first-use walkthrough.
• Refined message-bubble send animations, copy buttons, automatic scrolling, collapsible task progress, and the composer layout.
• Improved message management, sponsor lists, system notifications, the built-in browser, terminal, and change previews.
• Tightened the packaging allowlist to include only runtime code and assets, excluding duplicate frontend development files, tests, and local credentials.

• macOS: Tora-1.0.2-mac.dmg supports macOS 13 or later on Apple silicon and Intel Macs. It is signed with a Developer ID certificate and notarized by Apple.

Notes for the first Windows release

• The Bash command tool requires Git for Windows, including Bash. The built-in terminal uses the system's cmd.exe.
• A system-level Bash process sandbox is not currently available on Windows. With the default sandbox enabled, commands are explicitly refused rather than silently run with weaker protection. If you need to execute commands, assess the risks before disabling the process sandbox in Settings while retaining manual approvals, or explicitly selecting Full Access mode.
• Validation covered installation, application startup, the built-in frontend, and command working directories in the Windows build environment. It does not establish compatibility with every Windows device or third-party model service.

This update improves the first-run experience and everyday workspace UI while simplifying the feature set.

• Added first-run guidance and refined the chat composer, themes, and settings. Themes now support presets, no background, and a custom background.
• Improved the built-in browser and terminal. Change Preview now shows a concise message for folders that are not Git repositories.
• Removed Project Impact Radar, Verifiable Delivery, and Run History. Project hooks remain available in their own panel.
• The macOS 13+ universal build supports both Apple silicon and Intel. The app and DMG are Developer ID signed and Apple-notarized.
• ZIP, blockmaps, and latest-mac.yml are included for in-app updates. A Windows installer is not included in this release.
