Visible automatic update checks recover after five minutes on failure, then return to six-hour success checks. Sanitized diagnostics distinguish network, timeout, HTTP and release-verification failures; transport credentials and response bodies are never displayed. Narrow navigation, file-name/directory hierarchy and update cards are refined while preserving native file/terminal/installer workflows.

Tested DSH versions: 0.2.0-rc.2, 0.2.1-rc.2 and 0.2.1-rc.3. Helper 0.13.1 is unchanged. The archive contains compiled code; runtime dependencies still require network access. Source links are never replaced. Remote PTC still needs an appropriate Node on the remote login PATH; no automatic runtime or shell configuration changes are made.

Rollback: v0.13.1. See acceptance and SHA256SUMS for this release's verification boundary.

Remote PTC reuses the active official Node worker with an authenticated helper,
matching remote cwd and sandbox, and a separate bounded/lossless fd-7 channel.
Persistent state remains owned by the official runtime and cannot silently move
between workspaces. Missing Node or confinement support fails explicitly.
No local execution, privilege escalation, software installation or SSH edits are
used as fallback. Reload and reconnect to activate helper 0.13.1; old daemons are
not patched in place. Unrestricted same-UID programs remain outside the boundary.

SHA256SUMS. Older tags/assets remain immutable, but pre-0.13.1 rollback loses

Compatibility and limits / 兼容与限制

• Helper 0.11.0, SHA-256 3c3b35a6a6c20703053cb06d8ee770031d92266750d7909bc41e96087f8d09be, is unchanged. No SSH configuration rewrite or transfer-format migration.
• Updates may reload SSH: save drafts and pause transfers first. DSH never restarts automatically. Source-linked installs remain Git-managed.
• Folder transfers require File System Access in Desktop/supported secure Chromium; ordinary file uploads remain available elsewhere. The embedded test browser's directory chooser did not complete authorization; Desktop download and end-to-end checksums passed.
• Existing editor capacity, per-run drafts, 1 TiB transfer limits and native workspace-row extension boundaries are unchanged. Small-data transfer and synthetic CPU measurements are not TB-scale throughput tests.
• Rollback: install v0.12.0, then reload/restart as instructed. Workspace mappings and migrated OpenSSH configuration remain.

The npm package with the same name belongs to another project. Use this full URL. Runtime dependencies are still downloaded during installation. Version 0.11.2 and earlier need one manual installation to gain the new updater. Save work and fully restart the current DSH after that first upgrade so the new Host service is available.

Compatibility and limits

Targets: DSH 0.2.0-rc.2 / Desktop 0.2.1-rc.2. helper 0.11.0 and its SHA-256 remain unchanged. Transfer format v1 and existing capacity limits are unchanged. No TB-scale performance claim.

Package files being installed does not prove running-code activation. DSH may require a restart or reject direct replacement of a source; the feature reports this instead of removing the current plugin. GitHub network failures/rate limits are not reported as up to date. Read-only checks never send project content or SSH configuration. Automatic checks run only while visible, at six-hour intervals, with a shared Host cache.

Rollback: retain v0.11.2. Install that pinned archive manually; source-linked development checkouts remain separately Git-managed. This release does not update DSH or SSH configuration.

Add a 6px, theme-aware SSH status dot to the existing header/blank-session badge and remote workbench. Both surfaces share visibility-bound five-second read-only polling and accessible hover/focus details. Connected is green; installing/connecting/reconnecting/degraded is amber; disconnected/unknown is hollow gray; errors are red. Failed/timed-out queries and carrier loss clear stale green indicators; late responses cannot restore them after a Session or connection-generation change.

No automatic SSH connect/disconnect, native-sidebar replacement, new RPC, runtime dependency, configuration migration or DSH upgrade. Helper 0.11.0 and its content hash are unchanged. Supported baselines remain DSH 0.2.0-rc.2 / 0.2.1-rc.2; rollback is v0.11.1. Install the archive URL above via the official plugin page or Web CLI, verify SHA256SUMS, enable and restart. Green represents the most recently observed SSH/helper connection, not verification of every remote feature or instantaneous physical-network failure detection. Folder globe badges and workspace-row trailing status await public upstream extension points.

Remote skill discovery covers the four default roots, directory bundles and flat Markdown. It does not follow symlinks or discover custom remote DSH_HOME/DSH_AGENTS_HOME. Limits: 256 KiB per skill, 1000 candidate files / 8 MiB per scan, four concurrent reads, 60-second catalog expiry with no SSH polling. Permission/budget failures are incomplete observations, not an authoritative empty catalog. Windows path/registry CI is narrower than full Windows Desktop/SSH acceptance. Terminal command observation remains Bash/Zsh-only.

Breaking: SSH2/SFTP and the two legacy terminal exports are removed. Existing OpenSSH aliases work as before; old plugin hosts require the explicit migration wizard (preview, confirm, private backup, verify, guarded rollback).

The remote workbench combines quick open, transfers, ports and terminal status while preserving native files/terminals and editor draft protection. Keyboard selection, responsive navigation, demand-driven polling, real cross-file concurrency, page-level manifest reads, throttled progress, prepared Top-K search and capability-negotiated direct range reads improve daily use.

Baselines: DSH 0.2.0-rc.2 and 0.2.1-rc.2; helper 0.11.0; durable transfer format v1. Peer ranges explicitly accept the new RC, with both native terminal transports covered by regression tests. Install the complete archive URL above, verify SHA256SUMS, enable and restart. Do not use the unrelated same-name npm package. v0.10.2 remains available for rollback on its validated DSH 0.2.0-rc.2 baseline.

Limits / 边界

Editor limit remains 256 KiB; transfers remain 1 TiB per file/batch, with small-data functional checks and simulated capacity boundaries, not TB-scale throughput measurements. No Windows-remote support, native external-editor takeover, or model-terminal resize is added. Performance figures in the acceptance record are synthetic local benchmarks, not network throughput claims.

Prebuilt packages can now be installed directly through the official DSH plugin page. The bilingual README starts with installation and first connection, with separate history and troubleshooting documents. Release checks exercise actual package installation, enabling/disabling, upgrades, rollback and removal.

Validated baseline: DSH 0.2.0-rc.2, macOS/Linux hosts, Node 22/24, and small live-SSH samples on Linux. Helper 0.10.0 and its content hash are unchanged. Paste the package URL above into the plugin installer, or use the Web CLI command. Restart the corresponding DSH instance afterwards.

Runtime dependencies still require network access and may prompt for build approval. The unscoped npm name belongs to another project.

Known limits / 已知限制

• 自定义 DSH_HOME 请使用真实绝对路径；macOS 的 /tmp 别名可能导致重启后无法恢复远程映射。验收改用同一目录的 /private/tmp 真实路径后，Web/Desktop 均恢复正常。默认 ~/.dsh 安装不受此次测试路径问题影响；本版未修改映射逻辑。

• If you override DSH_HOME, use its canonical absolute path, not a symlink alias. A macOS /tmp → /private/tmp mismatch can prevent persisted remote mappings from loading after restart. The same test profiles passed using their physical paths; this release does not alter that existing routing boundary.

• Windows hosts are not validated; forwarding requires a macOS/Linux host.

• Text editing is limited to complete UTF-8 files up to 256 KiB. Transfers support 1 TiB boundaries by simulation, not TB-scale performance testing.

• Native local-open/Finder actions are not SSH editor actions. Existing DSH v0 history conversion errors are outside this plugin release.

• Rollback: install github:CrazyShout/dsh-ssh-remote#abff63bafd0959820ec2d9976803f5cdbdc77580 (0.10.1) and restart.
