Brickwright 0.1.27

Robot Lab

  • Live measurements on models, time plots, lesson presets, and in-place editing of saved measurements.
  • Virtual hubs connect to the same Code and Blocks programs (run, stop, switch tabs, run again).

SPIKE

  • Desktop MicroPython simulator starts reliably again (support files now match the bundled simulator).
  • Closing the arena during a run no longer leaves the previous robot's sensors attached.
  • SPIKE arena: touch dragging on the 2D mat, complete German labels, bounded "Read USB ports" over the Mac bridge.
  • Code tab: a conversion that cannot be shown now offers an empty editor instead of a dead end.

Circuits

  • Honest scope acquisition readouts; organ widgets produce sampled audio you can measure.

Linux package

  • Ships licence notices for every linked component (/usr/share/doc/brickwright).

Simulation results do not establish physical LEGO buildability or hardware support.

Brickwright 0.1.26

Robot Lab includes 57 assemblies, 65 example choices and 130 offline English/German lessons. Examples load their programs into Code and Blocks automatically and update the project title.

  • Explore motorized gears, linkages, steering, inertia, pendulums, drawing and magnetic transport, including Scale Echo, Turnwise, Ellipse Engine, Sarrus Lift and Magnetic Chess.
  • Use the compact scrolling toolbar, collapsible manual motor controls, simulation speed controls, example gallery and building instructions.
  • Axis Plotter and Orbital Loom draw measured mechanism paths. Governor keeps a steady camera. Sarrus Lift no longer flickers against its floor.
  • Own models use BSD-3-Clause and are credited to CrispStrobe. Upstream LDraw attribution is retained.

Android APK and Windows installer downloads are attached below. The Android build uses the repository's debug APK configuration. Device and hardware compatibility still require testing on the target device.

This tag contains the 57-assembly library. The subsequent thirteen-model batch, including Bit Keeper, has landed separately on main. TestFlight 0.1.26 has been uploaded and is awaiting Apple processing and tester distribution.
