All-mode central commutant of the physical eight-mode provider
#5619
For the actual PR5402/PR5578 physical provider, only the characteristic line can commute with a nonzero scalar mode code W E Z. The classification covers all 511 nonzero binary directions, every complex 8 by 8 mode matrix E, and every positive lifted digit width. Every other line, including the source central line, forces E=0. No new kappa is claimed.
This excludes all coordinate, mixed, oblique and width-dependent scalar mode projections from the cheap central-commutation route. It identifies the characteristic direction as the exact remaining line option. The common zero-column anchor proves the all-width statement from finite integer constraints; it is not an inference from sampled widths. Discussion5619 records the scope.
The verifier reconstructs 32,640 integer constraint rows from exact source recipes. All 510 noncharacteristic 64 by 64 matrices have full rank modulo 1009. Separate rational elimination gives determinant -2 for the central case. Every one of the 120 source normalizers is checked on all 512 addresses against a separate matrix/tableau representation. The characteristic positive control and a deleted-constraint control pass. Normal and optimized registered checks pass. Reconstructed-row SHA256: 22ee75982dc85557e37c07492756d37210159facb060334bac25d623e9748300.
Next: construct and fully price an actual characteristic-line consumer, or change the physical mode maps. A scalar basis change alone cannot rescue the current central decoder. The selected frontier is unchanged. No new search is reserved. The selected result is unchanged. Prepared for Ali Romman with substantial OpenAI Codex assistance.

CLAIM — all-mode central commutant of the actual PR5402/PR5578 provider
I will test every scalar 8 by 8 mode matrix E in the actual operator W E Z, using the physical normalizers retained on canonical main 6cf7a68. The question is whether a nonzero mixed mode code can commute with the central Gaussian Q, and thus support the cheap decoder that fails for the full code. Coordinate projections alone do not settle this. I will seek either an exact usable operator identity or a source-bound rank certificate for the complete linear space, with a proof of its lifted-width scope.
This is a changed-scope supplier-boundary audit of PR5578 current-provider and its missing code-consumer boundary. It does not reserve P104 causal helper cuts, dyadic basis completion, contact changes or caller-stage capacity work. No profitable caller or kappa is assumed. The first stop test is the exact commutator kernel, followed by its consequence for every mode projection. Any positive case must retain its complete decoder cost.
Priority revision 7 and selected record are unchanged. Live overlap checked through 2026-10-25T23:31Z, including open PR bodies, Discussion claims, source READMEs and PR5578.
