• This release is for Windows (x64) only. There are no macOS or Linux packages for 0.6.1; on those platforms, keep using 0.5.3.
• The interface is available in nine languages: English, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. Cordy follows the system language by default; choose another under Settings > General > Language.
• In notes, list items can hold images, files, code blocks and most other blocks, as in Notion; images and videos can be resized by dragging either side; "Copy image" and "Copy file" put a media block on the clipboard.
• The command palette shows when there are more results: the next row peeks out at the bottom, the edges fade, and the arrow keys scroll one row early.
• Runtime status moved from the pill in the bottom-right corner into the performance chip at the top left; its panel has a Runtime section with Restart runtime.
• Fixes: buttons at the top left of the window no longer act as part of the title bar; files that differ only in line endings no longer show as changed in the Changes tab count and the Files tree once the Changes panel has checked them; typing 3. starts a numbered list at 3; dragging a media block shows a preview and works from its handle again; an empty note no longer shows its hint inside a new list item.
• The Windows installer is still not code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen shows an "unrecognised app" warning on first run.

Cordy for Chrome 2.6.0

• New: Notes. The side panel has a Notes tab, and a button there opens the same note as its own page in a new tab. Both show the same note, and an edit in one shows up in the other within about a second.
• The note editor works in blocks: type / at the start of a line or after a space to add headings, bulleted, numbered and task lists, quotes, callouts, toggles, columns, tables, code with syntax highlighting, Mermaid diagrams, equations, bookmarks, and images, videos, audio and files. Drag a block to move it.
• Copy and paste Markdown, and import or export a Notion-style Markdown zip from the note's menu.
• Your note and its attachments are stored only on your device and are never sent anywhere. Delete All under Settings → Data Management now deletes the note too; data backups don't include it, so export the note first if you want to keep it.
• Long lists and tables in the in-page result card (for example a summary or an explanation) now appear more smoothly while they are written.
• Scrollable lists such as the command palette, Dashboard search and the @ mention picker now show when there is more below, and the arrow keys keep the highlighted item in view.
• The .zip attached to this release is published so the package can be verified. Install Cordy from the Chrome Web Store, the only supported way to install it.

Cordy Desktop 0.6.0

• Notes draw Mermaid diagrams: a code block in the Mermaid language shows its diagram, and each diagram block switches between Code, Preview and Split.
• Terminal programs that report their status through the Program Status Protocol (OSC 7501), such as Claude Code 2.1.295 or later, show on their tab whether they are working, need your approval, have a question, finished or failed, in any terminal tab. Their notifications follow that status and carry the workspace name.
• Cordy no longer adds hook settings to Claude Code. Older Claude Code versions still run: started from the Claude Code agent preset, they get the status Cordy reads from the screen, as other agents do; started by hand in a plain tab, they show no status.
• Cordy now runs on Electron 45 (Chromium 156). Saved browser passwords keep working without conversion.
• Fixes: pasting over a selection that starts in an empty paragraph now inserts the pasted content instead of only removing the selection.
• The Windows installer is still not code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen shows an "unrecognised app" warning on first run.

Cordy for Chrome 2.5.7

• You can import your OneTab data: in Collections, choose the HTML file OneTab exports, or paste the text it exports. Each OneTab group becomes a collection and keeps its original date.
• Added "Save all open windows here" to Collections in the side panel and the Dashboard: each open window is saved as its own collection (incognito windows are skipped).
• Opening Collections when the browser starts is now optional and off by default, so it no longer gets in the way of another New Tab extension. Turn it on in Settings → General → Startup.
• In the collections, Read Later, history, tabs and bookmarks lists, a row's buttons now appear over the row when you hover it, so titles and addresses are no longer cut short.
• Translating with a cloud AI model now sends the whole text in one request when it fits the model, keeps blank lines, and asks before splitting a very long text. The translation appears smoothly, and reloading or closing the page stops it right away. Gemini Nano translation in the translation workbench now works.
• Cordy now gets each AI model's context size and output limit from public model catalogs, so newer models show correct limits. The privacy policy describes these downloads; they include no keys or personal data.
• Fixed Full Sync of Chrome bookmarks failing when a folder holds about 100 or more bookmarks.
• The .zip attached to this release is published so the package can be verified. Install Cordy from the Chrome Web Store, the only supported way to install it.

• Notes are now a block editor: type / to insert headings, lists and task lists, callouts, code blocks, toggles, tables, columns, tabs, equations, a table of contents, and image, video, audio and file attachments; drag any block by its handle; paste Markdown and it becomes blocks. Existing notes are converted on first launch, and each original is kept as a backup. Going back to 0.5.4 after the conversion is not supported.
• A note can be exported as a .zip in Notion's Markdown layout, and a Notion export or a Markdown file can be imported into a note. Each note has its own font, small text, full width and table-of-contents options, and a floating outline of its headings.
• Panes in a tab can be arranged from a grip: preset layouts, docking along an edge, moving and swapping.
• The Changes panel shows image diffs, gives merge conflicts their own group with "Mark resolved", and adds Stage all / Unstage all / Discard all actions; diffs wrap long lines by default, and a half-written commit message survives switching panels.
• The file tree follows the active editor, can be filtered by name, shows symlinks, dims git-ignored entries and joins single-child folder chains into one row. It and the Changes panel keep up while coding agents write many files.
• Fixes: no blank rows after dragging a terminal tab into a split; Open in → Terminal works on Windows; a new commit always appears in the Graph; saving a file no longer fails now and then while Git counts changed lines; a fault in one note or pane no longer blanks the whole window; switches read correctly in dark themes.

Cordy for Chrome 2.5.6

• Added a Permissions tab in Settings that lists every optional permission Cordy can ask for: website access, local AI runtimes (localhost), bookmarks, browsing history, and clearing browsing data. Each one shows its current status with a button to grant or revoke it. The Text Selection Menu setting now offers a "Grant website access" button right where it says access is needed.
• The selection menu on web pages uses icon buttons with a label on hover, and tooltips inside web pages now actually appear, including on the floating result card.
• Fixed the first result card not appearing when you right-click translate, explain, or summarize on a page where Cordy had not loaded yet.
• The floating result card streams more smoothly and uses much less CPU while an answer streams and while you drag it.
• Translating with a cloud or local AI model now sends one request per paragraph instead of one per line, streams the translation in, and keeps the original line breaks. The source and translation panes each have their own copy button.
• In the side panel's Collections, the Select toggle sits on the count row with a compact icon bar below it, ticking checkboxes no longer lags, and the copy-links menu and drag handle have tooltips.
• In right-to-left languages such as Arabic, the Dashboard sidebar now sits on the right and no longer covers the page.
• Updated the AI SDK, the provider integrations, React, and other underlying libraries.

Cordy Desktop 0.5.4

• This release is for Windows (x64) only. There are no macOS or Linux packages for 0.5.4; on those platforms, keep using 0.5.3.
• Cordy no longer creates or manages git worktrees: every workspace works in its project's own checkout. For a separate checkout, run git worktree add yourself and add that folder as its own project. Worktree workspaces from an earlier version are converted on first launch: they switch to the project's own checkout, the worktree folder on disk is left untouched, and the previous data file is kept as a backup next to the new one.
• Images, SVG, video and audio files open in a preview tab instead of the text editor.
• The Changes panel gets a keyboard-driven branch picker and Publish Branch for a branch with no upstream, and asks before a Pull or a checkout that would affect unsaved drafts or running agents.
• Git Fetch, Pull and Push now say what happened, including why they failed. Stage, unstage and discard now touch only the file you clicked; a file name containing characters such as [ could previously affect other files too.
• The file tree supports multi-select, drag to move, cut / copy / paste, pasting files copied in File Explorer, and moves deleted files to the Recycle Bin. It now shows everything except .git, and says so when a very large folder is only partly listed.
• Terminal tabs can be dragged to reorder them, merged into another tab's split, or split back out; there are next / previous tab commands; text copied by terminal programs such as Claude Code or Codex reaches the system clipboard; and restarting an exited shell keeps what it printed.
• The performance monitor opens from the command palette, and the diagnostics export now lists recent process crashes.
• Privacy and security: a crashed browser tab's page title no longer ends up in diagnostics exports; coding agents only start inside a project folder; page scripts can no longer copy arbitrary files into a workspace; and repository files can no longer replace the app window.
• Many fixes to editing, notes, shortcuts and workspace switching. Electron is updated to 42.11.8.
• Cordy Desktop is proprietary software from 0.5.4 on. Versions 0.5.3 and earlier remain under the MIT license.

• Fixed importing and syncing bookmarks from your browser into Cordy, which failed in versions 2.5.2 through 2.5.4. Manual and automatic sync now run through one background process; if the bookmarks permission is missing, Cordy says so and lets you grant it and retry, and the list refreshes as soon as a sync finishes.
• Fixed a blank side panel after restoring data: an open side panel now reloads itself once the restore completes.
• Fixed the "Open AI Settings" button on the floating result card being blocked by Chrome (ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT) when a feature such as translation had no model configured. It now opens the AI settings page, or switches to it if it is already open.
• The output language setting now applies to explanations, page and selection summaries, slash commands, and conversation summaries; a language you name in the request itself takes precedence. Chrome's built-in AI answers in the requested language (English, Japanese, Spanish, German, or French) and tells you plainly when a language, including Chinese, is not supported, instead of silently answering in English.
• Added four AI providers: DeepSeek, Qwen (Alibaba Cloud Model Studio), Groq, and Mistral. A custom OpenAI-compatible service no longer becomes unusable when its model catalog check fails; the models you entered manually keep working.
• Added a built-in Release notes page, reachable from the Dashboard sidebar (which also shows your current version) and from the side panel settings, with a link to each version's public release, starting with this one. After an update, Cordy shows an "Updated to" notice you can open or dismiss.
• The Tabs and Collections toolbars in the side panel stay on a single row in every language, and chat history cards no longer show overlapping dates, titles, and buttons.
• The .zip attached to this release is published so the package can be verified. Install Cordy from the Chrome Web Store, the only supported way to install it.

• Added native macOS (Apple Silicon) and Linux (x86_64 and arm64) packages, in the same install channels Windows already has: .dmg/.zip on macOS and .AppImage/.deb on Linux, installable side by side with independent data.
• macOS terminals and coding-agent launches now start reliably when Cordy is opened from Finder.
• Restarting the background runtime now leaves terminals usable and shows accurate agent status, instead of leaving stale "running" agents behind.
• A terminal-creation timeout no longer leaves a hidden shell process running in the background.
• Cmd+Q now quits Cordy properly on macOS even while a coding agent's terminal UI has focus.
• The Windows installer is still not code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen shows an "unrecognised app" warning on first run.
• The macOS build uses a local development signing identity and is not notarized.
• Linux sandboxed startup and AppImage mounting on an ordinary desktop have not been fully verified.
