Bloodborne PC — Stability & Controls Update
Windows update incorporating focused adaptations of public contributions #3, #4 and #5.
- Device-aware keyboard/mouse and Xbox button labels, with original PlayStation prompts retained.
- Windows guest memory is committed on allocation instead of charging the entire pool at startup.
- Individual mod/XML switches and bounded executable-mod patches, including mixed asset/patch folders.
- Atomic launcher settings saves with backups and preservation of existing mod order.
Existing DLSS model presets, motion vectors, FSR, shader caches, controls, ultrawide and native PC menus are preserved. The reviewed performance PR contains no new DLSS renderer changes relative to the previous release. The title menu remains capped at 60 FPS; 120 FPS and Unlimited retain FIFO VSync. Frame Generation is unchanged and not enabled by this update.
The trophy functionality and Windows dependency fallback proposed by #3 were already integrated. Overlapping PR changes were adapted individually rather than importing their unrelated upstream histories or replacing the launcher.
Download and extract the complete Windows ZIP, then open BloodborneLauncher.exe. Keep your existing saves and configuration backed up when updating. No game files are included.
Bloodborne PC — Performance & Stability Update
Windows performance and stability update, preserving the existing launcher, graphics options and DLSS Super Resolution models.
- Fixed retained memory from nested GPU command buffers.
- Reduced unnecessary tiled-texture downloads under VRAM pressure, while preserving texture contents and emergency cleanup.
- Honoured the game's early depth-test requests to avoid unnecessary fragment work where applicable.
- Fixed Vulkan staging-buffer synchronization during texture tiling.
Includes DLSS 310.9.1, the existing FSR upscalers, PC controls, widescreen and FPS options.
The shader metadata format changed for the depth-ordering fix. Older shader entries rebuild once; subsequent starts reuse the updated cache.
Start BloodborneLauncher.exe and use your existing game installation. No game files or saves are included.
Bloodborne PC — 120 FPS & Unlimited Update
Adds 120 FPS and Unlimited gameplay to the existing Windows stability release.
- Both the WPF launcher's quick controls and Performance page now offer 30, 60, 90, 120 and Unlimited, with settings persistence.
- The title/front-end menu stays at a maximum of 60 FPS. Loading without a world player also keeps this safety ceiling. Inventory, shops and in-world menus retain the gameplay limit.
- 120 FPS and Unlimited automatically use FIFO (VSync). Unlimited follows the current monitor's refresh rate, including fractional rates and display changes. Other frame rates retain their presentation choices.
- A dynamic present limiter prevents catch-up bursts after stalls and also covers repeated/blank frames.
- Guest vblank events continue even with a continuously nonempty flip queue in Unlimited mode.
- The new high-FPS modes retain the existing FPS++ frame-job design. 120 FPS adapts the 90 FPS++ timing values; byte-verified measured physics/AI/ragdoll steps avoid fixed-step acceleration in those paths. References and attribution are documented in docs/FRAME_PACING_WINDOWS.md and licenses/BBHOST-PORTS.md.
- Existing graphics, DLSS model choices, trophies, controller support and stability changes are retained.
Bloodborne PC — Stability & DLSS Update
Windows stability update based on the existing PC release.
- DLSS Model Preset: Auto, A–F, J, K, M and L, independently of quality mode and DLAA. Available in the launcher and graphics overlay, with safe NGX recreation and history reset. NVIDIA DLSS runtime: 310.9.1; older hints may be remapped by the DLL.
- Vulkan recording overflow handling, conservative tiled-texture VRAM reclamation, null vertex-table checks and checked runtime allocations.
- Byte-verified Bloodborne 1.09 red-zone and render-pool protections for Windows.
- Bounded minidumps for exceptions and fatal renderer assertions.
- Verified executable preparation cache with atomic writes and invalidation; mods and local menu assets continue to be checked each launch.
- Quit Game on the title menu and local trophies with notifications, a native System page and an overlay list (thanks to GerasimosKan, PRs #1 and #2).
- Controller discovery, reconnection and launcher lifecycle fixes.
Download the Windows x64 ZIP. Start BloodborneLauncher.exe; the installation process is unchanged.
