Theme integration

Pi Session Deck now follows Pi's active theme rather than fixed RGB colors. The main canvas keeps the terminal's default background, while text, selection, search, confirmation panels, reasoning levels, and session identity colors use semantic theme roles.

For terminal-matched colors, select system in /settings → Theme. English and Chinese READMEs include the setup guidance.

Install

Requires Node >=22.19.0 and Pi 1.4.x. Git installation also requires Git:

pi install git:github.com/De0ta/PiSessionDeck@v1.0.3

Keep one installation source to avoid loading duplicate copies. Restart Pi after changing the installed package.

Checks

• Type checks passed; all four Windows/Ubuntu × Node 22.19/24 CI jobs passed.
• Windows / Node 24: 188 tests, 187 passed, one symlink-permission skip.
• The 21-file package passed isolated extension loading and committed-source installation checks.
• Release assets include the npm-format source package and SHA256SUMS.

Known limitation

Confirmation panels use general text colors on customMessageBg. Custom themes that require a separate customMessageText color can have poor panel contrast.

Pi Session Deck v1.0.2 — Selected-workspace New

Fixed

• New follows the selected workspace. Pressing n or choosing New creates an independent empty conversation in the selected conversation's project, instead of the currently running chat's project. With no selection, the current workspace is used.
• Invalid or unavailable target directories are reported without falling back to another project. Retrying a cancelled or failed switch reuses the prepared empty session.
• Draft and queue checks remain active around asynchronous preparation, and late results after shutdown are ignored.

• n 和菜单 New 在选中会话所属工作区创建独立空对话，不复制旧对话内容；无选中项时使用当前目录。
• 目标目录错误不回退到其他项目，取消或失败后重试复用已创建的空会话。
• 保留异步准备前后的草稿／队列保护，关闭后忽略迟到结果。

Validation

• Type checking passed; local tests: 183 total, 182 passed, one skipped for Windows symlink permissions.
• CI passed on Windows and Ubuntu with Node 22.19.0 and Node 24, including package and Git installation checks.
• Package: 21 files, verified with an isolated Pi extension loader.

What's new

• New session — n: start an empty conversation in the current project.
• Fork — f: create an independent copy of the effective conversation branch, including its latest reply. Fork titles end in · Fork.
• Pin — p: keep saved conversations in a separate Pinned section across every grouping mode.
• Delete — Delete: permanently remove a selected non-current session through a centered confirmation dialog. Cancel is selected by default; projects and forks are retained.
• Action menu — a: access New, Fork, Pin / Unpin, Rename, and Delete from one place.
• Cleaner automatic titles: remove generic prefixes such as “会话标题:” and “Short session title”.
• Bilingual documentation: English project introduction, a matching Chinese version, and updated installation and management guides.

Requires Node.js 22.19.0+, Git, and Pi 1.4.x.

Restart Pi and run /session-browser, or press ← in a completely empty editor. To upgrade from a pinned older version, remove its source with pi remove before installing v1.0.1.

Checks

• Four-job CI matrix: Windows and Ubuntu × Node 22.19 / 24; type checks, regression tests, package loading, and Git installation passed.
• Local Windows / Node 24: 164 tests passed, with one symlink test skipped because of account permissions.
• Anonymous installation from the published v1.0.1 tag successfully loaded package 1.0.1.
• Release package: 20 files, with a SHA-256 checksum in the attached SHA256SUMS.

验证与限制

• Windows/Ubuntu × Node 22.19/24 四组CI：类型检查、97项测试、发布包真实加载和实际Git安装smoke通过。
• 另以禁用系统/全局Git配置和凭据helper的隔离环境，验证匿名GitHub固定提交及版本标签安装与加载。
• 尚未人工验收真实终端端到端、Linux终端/SSH/tmux、macOS及全部扩展组合。自动化通过不代表保证所有环境；Linux真实终端兼容仍按实验性看待。
• 浏览不调用模型；自动标题会向用户自己配置的模型额外发送首轮片段并可能产生费用，独立请求不自动计入主对话用量统计。
• 不是后台多Agent管理器，不能判断其他Pi进程是否正在写同一历史；恢复前需自行确认。只支持恢复到会话目录，不提供虚假的“保持当前目录”选项。
