Bunkr 1.1.4

@DkshByte DkshByte released this 21 Sep 17:48

New:

  • Best day to bunk: a pill on Today names the day this week that costs you least, and the full list ranks every day as Best, Safe, Risky or Can't, by how many days off it still leaves you for the rest of term.
  • Study with AI: send a unit, the mid-sem units or a whole subject to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Perplexity, ready to go. Ask for explanations, exam notes, practice questions or a full PDF study guide, with or without the web.
  • Lectures for every topic: a YouTube button on each topic finds lectures on exactly that topic.
  • Syllabus follows your timetable: the main card shows the class on now or next, which unit it is on, and the next topic.

Install: download bunkr.apk below. If you have Bunkr 1.1.0 or later, it updates in place.

@DkshByte DkshByte released this 21 Sep 12:51

New:

  • Syllabus tab: the full 2026-27 syllabus for all seven theory subjects, unit by unit. Search any topic ("Kepler", "Thevenin") to find its unit. Switch to Read for just the syllabus.
  • Class progress: your CR marks topics as they are taught, and everyone sees how far the class has got.
  • Mid-sems (5–10 Oct, Units I & II): a countdown on Today and on the Syllabus tab.
  • Catch up is simpler: tick the classes you attended; anything left empty is saved as absent.
  • A cleaner welcome after signing in.

Install: download bunkr.apk below. If you have Bunkr 1.1.0 or later, it updates in place.

  • Privacy Policy, Terms and Delete account are now in Your profile.

First release signed with the permanent Bunkr release key.

Install: download bunkr.apk below and open it. If you installed an earlier Bunkr APK, uninstall that one first: this build is a new app id and would otherwise sit next to it. Sign in again after installing; your marks come back from your account.

New

  • A new way in: one field for your name or email, and your travelcard builds live as you go
  • A welcome when you sign in, with the full Bunkr mark
  • Sign in with Google on the web
  • Invite classmates who haven't joined, and link previews when you share bunkr.website
  • Loading placeholders on the section, ranks and roster
  • Privacy policy and terms, a 404 page, and rate limiting on every change

Fixed

  • Password reset links now open the reset screen instead of the landing page
  • The app updates itself again from www.bunkr.website

Bunkr v1.0.1

@DkshByte DkshByte released this 06 Sep 14:58

Fixes

Catch-up sheet — the All present / All absent / Off control could leave several options highlighted at once. It is now a per-class checklist: tick only the classes you missed.

Festival days — Raksha Bandhan and Janmashtami (Smarta) were listed as "usually closed, you decide". They are official off-days, so they no longer appear in catch-up at all.

Catch-up could become unreachable — opening the sheet once spent the only automatic prompt, even if you did not answer it. Combined with the broken buttons above, that could leave no way back in. The prompt is now spent on close, and a quiet "Redo catch-up" link is always available in Attendance.

Updating

Build stamp — the footer now shows which copy is running, so a screenshot answers "did the update land?".

Check for update — a button in the footer that clears the stored copy and refetches. A phone stuck on a stale build no longer needs a reinstall.

Fewer false rollbacks — the loader used to distrust the live copy after a single unconfirmed start, which is also what a launch looks like when you background the app mid-fetch. It now waits for two in a row.

The app fetches its own updates from bunkr.website on launch, so most fixes reach you without reinstalling this APK.
