Generators

  • Added Wind Turbine
    • It's a passive generator
    • Its base speed is 8 DE/t (compared to the Solar Panel, which has 12 DE/t)
    • The Wind Turbine gets stronger or weaker depending on the height.
    • The base height is 63 (1 block below sea level)
      • Every 16 blocks above y64, the Wind Turbine becomes 12.5% more efficient.
      • Every 8 blocks below y64, the Wind Turbine becomes 12.5% less efficient, ceasing to function completely at y20
      • All versions of the Wind Turbine have twice the capacity of a Solar Panel of the same level.
  • Furnator
    • Furnator now shows remaining burn time for the current fuel
    • Displays the total energy output of each fuel type
  • Solar Panel
    • Displays the current in-game time
    • Generation is affected by efficiency
    • Operates from 23000(-1000) to 13000 ticks, peaking at 6000 (Noon)
    • Its rate was reduced by 40%
  • Magmator
    • Displays remaining fuel time
  • Thermo Generator
    • Displays heat source multiplier
  • Added Transfer methods to Energy, Items and Fluids (Farthest, Nearest, Round)

Machines

  • Reworked Sieving System:
    • Added Mesh Tiers.
    • Sieve Drops now scale by tier (e.g., Diamond requires at least Iron Mesh).
    • Netherite Mesh no longer drops Flint.
    • Updated mesh multipliers for balance purposes.
  • Added Copper Cobblestone Generator
    • Produces 1 cobblestone every 4 seconds (0.25/s)
    • It is now the first tier of Cobblestone Generator. Cobble Gens now have 6 tiers.
  • Assembler
    • The Assembler now reserves 1 of each required material in its inventory, ensuring recipes always need 1 extra item to keep a leftover
  • Autosieve
    • Increased autosieve process cost from 3.2 kDE to 6.4 kDE
  • Crusher
    • Rebalanced energy costs for compressed materials:
      • Compressed Cobblestone, Gravel, Dirt, Deepslate, and Netherrack now scale energy cost exponentially with compression level.
        • Compressed Tier 1 → 7.2 kDE
        • Compressed Tier 2 → 64.8 kDE
        • Compressed Tier 3 → 583.2 kDE
        • Compressed Tier 4 → 5.24 MDE
    • Added support for ore block crushing:
      • Ore Blocks (e.g., Iron Block, Diamond Block, Gold Block, etc.) can now be crushed into their respective dusts.
      • Crushing ore blocks yields dust at a reduced efficiency (around 75–80%) compared to gems or ingots, introducing material loss to balance automation setups.
  • Digitizer
    • Increased energy cap to 32 kDE
    • Increased energy cost to 400 DE
    • Increased rate speed to 20 DE / t
  • Induction Anvil

    • Increased base rate speed from 20 DE/t to 40 DE/t
  • Magmatic Chamber
    • Decreased rate speed to 40 DE/t
  • Seed Synthesizer
    • Better soil no longer increases speed. It now multiplies the yield instead

Transportation

  • Mechanical Hopper, Upper & Dropper
    • Now increases transfer speed instead of items per transfer.
  • Ender Hopper
    • Now accepts Speed and Filter upgrades.
  • Conveyors were temporarily removed

Mob Grinding

  • Reworked Mob Grinder
    • Mob Grinders can now be upgraded
    • Added Damage Upgrade to increased the inflicted damage

THIRD-PARTY COMPATIBILITY

General

  • Added full ScriptEvent integration for all recipe systems, allowing external addons or datapacks to dynamically register, modify, or replace recipes during runtime.
  • Each machine or system now listens to a dedicated ScriptEvent ID, including:
    • utilitycraft:register_crusher_recipe
    • utilitycraft:register_furnace_recipe
    • utilitycraft:register_press_recipe
    • utilitycraft:register_infuser_recipe
    • utilitycraft:register_melter_recipe
    • utilitycraft:register_crafter_recipe
    • utilitycraft:register_fuel
    • utilitycraft:register_sieve_drop
  • ScriptEvents can be triggered both through Minecraft commands (/scriptevent) and through the scripting API (system.sendScriptEvent).

Integration Improvements

  • All recipe files now feature consistent JSON formats, type definitions, and JSDoc annotations, simplifying integration for developers.
  • Recipe validation was added to prevent broken or malformed entries from being registered.
  • Existing recipes can be replaced dynamically, enabling developers to rebalance UtilityCraft machines without editing core files.
  • A console summary is printed after each event, listing how many recipes were added or replaced.
  • Optional fields such as tier, cost, amount, and required are now standardized across all systems and automatically defaulted when omitted.
  • All major systems — Crusher, Furnace, Electro Press, Infuser, Melter, Crafter, and Sieve — now support dynamic recipe registration via scripts for seamless addon compatibility.

Sieve & Mesh System

  • Added the utilitycraft:mesh component, allowing other addons to define custom sieve meshes with their own loot tables.
  • Added a dedicated event utilitycraft:register_sieve_drop to register or modify sieve drops dynamically.
  • Custom meshes are supported by the autosieve only (not the Basic Sieve).

Melter & Fluid System

  • Introduced event-based liquid recipe registration through utilitycraft:register_melter_recipe.
  • Allows external addons to define new meltable blocks or items that produce custom fluids.

Crafter Integration

  • Introduced dynamic recipe support for the Crafter machine via utilitycraft:register_crafter_recipe.
  • Recipes use a 3×3 grid format separated by commas, with "air" representing empty slots.
  • Added support for leftover items, allowing containers like buckets or molds to remain after crafting.
  • Enables external addons to register shaped recipes directly from scripts for full automation compatibility.

Fuel System

  • Furnator fuels are now scriptable through utilitycraft:register_fuel.
  • Supports both full item IDs and partial identifiers (e.g., "log", "plank") for flexible matching.
  • Custom fuels can be added or existing ones modified to change burn values and compatibility behavior.
