☘️ Shamrock for JetBrains ☕️: v2.0.2 (pre-release)

A port of Shamrock (VS Code, v2.0.2) to JetBrains IDEs — IntelliJ IDEA, PyCharm, WebStorm, and other IntelliJ Platform IDEs.

This is a manual-install pre-release. It isn't on the JetBrains Marketplace yet, so it's distributed here as a plugin .jar you install from disk.

What's in this release

• Shamrock-theme.jar -> installs as a plugin providing:
  • the Shamrock UI theme (sidebar, tool windows, tabs, menus, status bar, dialogs)
  • the Shamrock editor color scheme (syntax highlighting), bundled in automatically

Install

1. Download Shamrock-theme.jar below.
2. Settings → Plugins → ⚙️ → Install Plugin from Disk...
3. Restart the IDE.
4. Settings → Appearance & Behavior → Appearance → Theme → Shamrock

Notes

• Marked as a pre-release since it hasn't gone through Marketplace review/publishing yet.
• Ported palette from the VS Code theme; a few less common UI corners may still default to base Darcula styling.

• Themed Integrated Terminal: Goodbye default colors! The built-in terminal now fully respects the Shamrock palette.
  • Errors are now a soft Burnt Peach.
  • Success messages shine in Turf Green.
  • Warnings pop in Old Gold.
  • Your CLI now looks as cohesive as your code editor.

🐛 Bug Fixes

• Fold Background: Adjusted the background color of folded code blocks. It now uses a transparent green overlay instead of a solid block, making it much easier to see where code is hidden without breaking the editor's flow.

• IntelliSense Visibility: Fixed an issue where the suggestion widget (autocomplete popup) had poor contrast, making it look like a "ghost" menu.
• UI Consistency: Updated the suggestion widget to match the new "Evergreen & Gold" palette with proper borders and selection highlights.
