Internally Tracked DYN-5744 |
@avidit @QilongTang I think this user just needs to install direct x 10 or use a newer version of Revit. |
I am the OP. The problem was resolved. Direct X 10 was already installed. the problem was that the laptop has RTX3000 graphics card and for some reason Dynamo would use the RTX3000 graphics card to run when the laptop was in high performance mode. the solution was to force the laptop into low performance mode by unplugging the power cord and setting low performance mode (battery saver mode) to always run when power is removed. This forced Dynamo to run off the CPU instead of the GPU. once dynamo was started then could plug power back into the laptop. Hopefully this helps anyone else who comes across this problem. |
Thanks @joemangi for all the details. Maybe this is something related to Helix usage where some config could help? @jasonstratton |
