It's great having you contribute to this projectWelcome to the community 🤓If you would like to continue contributing to open source and would like to do it with an awesome inclusive community, you should join our Discord chat and our GitHub Organisation - we help and encourage each other to contribute to open source little and often 🤓 . Any questions let us know. |
Hello, I'd like to work on this issue, could you assign me if the status gets changed to Ready for Dev? |
I can help in this issue |
can i work on this? |
Hi , i can solve this issue, can i work on this? |
Assign it to me, please |
Yes I think there are improvements that could be made here. What do you have in mind? Have a look at the Tailwind prebuilt components as we have purchased those, so we can easily use them |
Hi could I be assigned to this |
Hello! Sorry for the delay. I will assign for now but please confirm that you would still like to work on this issue as it has been some time. If so, I recommend proposing your design update to the maintainers before you do too much work. See @eddiejaoude comment re: tailwind components for inspiration |
As there has been no activity for over two weeks I will unassign this Issue. |
@SaraJaoude I would like to take this up. |
@AJcodes42 please avoid tagging a specific maintainer. We can all assign issues and receive notifications and it is more efficient this way. You already have an issue assigned to you and we are only assigning one issue per person. |
@akash19coder Thank you for your contribution but this is not how contributions to this project are made. Please do not raise a Pull Request if the issue has not been assigned to you. This creates more work and confusion - it is also no guarantee that the work you have done will be used in the project. On this occasion only, as this issue is not currently assigned (and those who have requested it have already been assigned another issue), I can assign this to you. However as you have not commented on this issue at all, please comment so that I can make this assignment. Please familiarise yourself with the project's Contributing Guide: https://github.com/EddieHubCommunity/LinkFree/blob/main/CONTRIBUTING.md |
@SaraJaoude Thank you for your response and for clarifying the proper way to contribute to this project. I appreciate the opportunity to take on the assignment and will comment on the issue to confirm that I would like to do so. I have also reviewed the project's Contributing Guide and will ensure that my contributions are in line with the project's guidelines moving forward. Thank you again for your help and guidance. |
Description
Currently, the event page has 6 filter buttons, which almost take up the whole screen. It would be great to decrease the size and align all the buttons side by side. Or else, it would be great to have a drop-down.
Currently, I guess the default filter is "All Future Events". It would be great if we can make the default filter "All Events". Then the user can filter it as per their needs.
