Alloy v0.3.3
Pre-release
Pre-release
- The CurseForge window downloads on Windows. It used to show CurseForge's
"Downloading…" and then nothing: Windows' webview holds a.jarback as a file that "can
harm your device", with no one there to answer. Alloy now takes the file request
CurseForge's page makes and fetches that file itself, the same way on every system,
then checks it against CurseForge's hash as before. - No more false errors in Forge 1.12.2 packs. Many 1.12.2 jars carry a leftover
mods.tomlfor a newer Forge next to themcmod.infotheir own Forge reads, so RLCraft
showed three errors (EnhancedVisuals wanting CreativeCore 2, Spartan Shields wanting
Forge 25 and Minecraft 1.13.2). Forge instances now readmcmod.infobelow 1.13 and
mods.tomlfrom 1.13 on. RLCraft 2.9.3 checks clean.
Install (Windows)
Download the -setup.exe and run it. It installs for your user, no admin prompt. The installer
isn't code-signed yet, so SmartScreen may warn: More info → Run anyway.
Install (Linux)
Download the .AppImage, make it executable (chmod +x) and run it. Arch users can also build
the package from packaging/arch.
