We are adding information about our chat server for ep2021 to the user panel/dashboard. Users will login into the chat server (matrix) using the same email address they use to login on ep2021. As for the password, if the user has a usable password on ep2021, then they will be able to use that in matrix. Otherwise (which is the case for social auth users), we generate one in a way that is predictable but hard to crack so that we can check it from matrix without storing it anywhere.
