dachshund v0.1.16
dachshund 0.1.16
The landing view and website now share the same product promise: All your
agents. One memory.
Improved
- Replaced the problem-led landing headline with the solution-focused product
slogan used by the website. - Expanded the landing agent constellation to eight representative integrations,
including WorkBuddy, Hermes, Pi, and DeepSeek Harness. - Removed the decorative
FIG. 01label so the agent relationships carry the
illustration. - Aligned the landing brand with the native macOS title bar and kept a clear
34 px gap from the traffic-light controls at supported window widths. - Kept the English and Chinese website titles, hero copy, footer, and download
links in sync with the app.
Notes
- Existing installations from
0.1.3onward can install this update in place
and relaunch automatically. - The build remains ad-hoc signed and not notarized.
dachshund v0.1.15
dachshund 0.1.15
Agent memory is now easier to understand, and the dachshund landing view is
always one click away.
Added
- Native memory mechanism diagrams for Codex, WorkBuddy, Claude Code, Claude
Desktop, OpenCode, Trae, Pi, and Hermes. - A full-window diagram reader with explicit close and
Escapebehavior. - Brand-mark navigation to the landing view from both the main app and compact
menu bar panel.
Improved
- Rebalanced the landing layout so the agent cloud, primary action, counts, and
privacy note have clear spacing at the default window size. - Added a close control and
Escapehandling when the landing is reopened after
onboarding. - Kept the existing onboarding state and local memory data intact when returning
to the landing view.
Notes
- Existing installations from
0.1.3onward can install this update in place
and relaunch automatically. - The build remains ad-hoc signed and not notarized.
dachshund v0.1.14
dachshund 0.1.14
Memory details now open into a full-window reading view, and dachshund behaves
as a menu bar utility with no Dock icon.
Added
- Expand any memory from the right-side inspector into a full-window reader.
- Open compact-panel memories in the full app with an explicit affordance.
- Keep
Escapeprogressive: collapse the reader first, then close the inspector.
Improved
- The packaged app declares
LSUIElement, so it stays out of the Dock and
Cmd+Tab; development builds hide the Electron Dock icon at launch. - The site hero now extends to the right edge on wide displays and keeps its
floating memory cards fully visible.
Notes
- Existing installations from
0.1.3onward can install this update in place
and relaunch automatically. - The build remains ad-hoc signed and not notarized.
dachshund v0.1.13
dachshund 0.1.13
Doubao and DeepSeek Harness now use the shared memory library through verified
local MCP connections, while dachshund keeps each agent's native memory boundary
explicit.
Added
- Verified Doubao MCP connection with all five dachshund memory tools and an
explicitdoubaoagent identity. - DeepSeek Harness importer support for surface-aware session events,
compaction summaries, and user-globalAGENTS.mdrules. - Managed DeepSeek Harness Cordis connection with an absolute Node.js path and
DACHSHUND_CLIENT_AGENT=deepseek-harness. - An idempotent shared-memory instruction block in
~/.dsh/AGENTS.md.
Improved
- Doubao handshakes are no longer missed when its MCP client reports the generic
namermcp. - DeepSeek Harness session logs are decoded one Zstandard frame at a time, so a
large early frame cannot hide later events. - Compacted durable cues remain available and are marked
surface-shadowed
instead of being presented as current visible context. - Unchanged DeepSeek Harness sessions reuse an in-process parse snapshot.
Notes
- Doubao account memory and per-assistant memory remain account-scoped.
- DeepSeek Harness raw sessions and tool output remain evidence; they are not
imported as memories. - Existing installations from
0.1.3onward can install this update in place
and relaunch automatically.
dachshund v0.1.12
dachshund 0.1.12
Claude Desktop's local Cowork Space memory now joins the library, and the full
app gains a Magpie-style navigation option.
Added
- Read-only Claude Desktop import for local Cowork Space topic files, account
topic files, and agent topic files. - Shared taxonomy mapping for Claude Desktop
user,feedback,project, and
referencememory types. - Persistent top-tab / sidebar navigation switch with
Cmd+\.
Improved
- Sidebar navigation is grouped into Workspace, Insights, and App.
- Pulse lives under Insights.
- Settings is now the Connectors screen, with Agent connections first.
- The sidebar control keeps a clear gap from the macOS window buttons at every
supported window width.
Notes
- Claude Desktop's ordinary Chat memory and cloud-only Project memory remain on
the account; dachshund imports local Space memory and connects the rest over
MCP. - Existing installations from
0.1.3onward can install this update in place
and relaunch automatically.
dachshund v0.1.11
dachshund 0.1.11
The menu bar panel now stays where you are.
Changes
- The menu bar panel opens as a non-activating macOS panel, so it no longer switches the active Space.
- The panel anchors to the current display and clamps to that display's work area.
- Compact-panel typography is slightly tighter without reducing core body copy.
- The roadmap now records future memory synchronization work separately from shipped behavior.

dachshund v0.1.10
Larger, calmer typography
- Rebalanced the main app and menu bar around a 14–15 px body scale, using Magpie as the visual reference.
- Increased navigation, card titles, metadata, filters, labels, and buttons together instead of enlarging isolated text.
- Added matching line height and spacing so the denser views remain readable without clipping.
- Kept every compact-panel category label complete at the default 420 × 620 size.
- Refreshed the main-window, compact-panel, agent, settings, and Pulse screenshots.
This MVP is ad-hoc signed and not notarized. On first launch, macOS may require Finder → right-click dachshund → Open.
dachshund v0.1.9
Fullscreen close fix
- Fixed the black fullscreen Space that could remain after closing the main window while it was fullscreen.
- dachshund now exits macOS fullscreen before hiding the window, then reopens as a normal window.
- Applied the same safe path to Minimize to Menu Bar and
Cmd+Shift+M. - Verified against the packaged
0.1.9Apple Silicon build.
This MVP is ad-hoc signed and not notarized. On first launch, macOS may require Finder → right-click dachshund → Open.
dachshund v0.1.8
Doubao MCP setup
- The Doubao MCP action now opens a guided local STDIO setup instead of showing a disabled import-only state.
- dachshund records a real MCP initialization handshake and marks Doubao connected only after the client identifies itself as
Doubaoor豆包. - The setup panel includes copy actions, a direct Doubao launch button, automatic polling, and explicit connection status.
- Agent sharing controls now use a fixed two-column grid for consistent row alignment.
- Documentation, screenshots, and release links are updated for
0.1.8.

Download dachshund-0.1.8-arm64.dmg, open it, and move dachshund.app into Applications once. Later 0.1.x releases install in place and reopen automatically.
