maybe we need two path constants here:
one for full jupyter UI https://jupyterlite.mat3ra.com/lab
one for just the notebook: https://jupyterlite.mat3ra.com/retro/notebooks/?path=

So the difference is in notebooks_path_root: lab vs retro/notebooks/?path= -- and we can choose which one to use in the tutorial itself -- depending whether the sidebar with files is needed
