FAIR Epigraphy aims to serve as a hub for digital epigraphers providing access to FAIR and linked open data for epigraphy. Our mission is to provide projects in digital epigraphy with high quality Linked Open Datasets, but also with sets of guidelines helping them to implement FAIR (Findable - Accessible - Interoperable - Reusable) data principles within the epigraphic discipline. The FAIR Epigraphy project will run for 36 months from 2022-2025, and is co-directed by Prof Marietta Horster (Mainz, Germany) and Prof Jonathan Prag (Oxford, UK).
FAIR Epigraphy is supported by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) [grant number AH/W010682/1]; and the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) [grant number 468455971].
