dsh-plan-execute v0.1.0

Initial public release. A same-session DSH plan approval extension that adds model, reasoning-effort, and context-preparation options without replacing the native plan review.

Highlights

  • The native plan review and approval choice remain authoritative. Execution preparation runs only after the exact approval answer.
  • Choose “Use current model” or a concrete model from the Host catalog, then one of that model's advertised reasoning efforts.
  • Keep context unchanged, or compact a tool-pair-balanced history prefix before the pending approval batch.
  • Preparation fails closed on cancellation, stale identity, invalid ranges, and compaction/model-selection errors.
  • The options panel is rendered through a portal outside the native card, viewport-clamped, scrollable, and keyboard accessible.
  • Verification on the tagged commit: 47 Vitest tests, 5 headless Chromium layout tests, package inspection, and checksum generation.

Requirements

  • DSH 0.2.1-rc.5
  • Node.js >= 24
  • This package is intentionally not published to npm; GitHub Releases is the distribution channel.

Install

Download the tarball and checksum, then verify before installing:

Known limitations

  • Staged settings and progress are process-local; unload or restart does not resume them.
  • Compaction cannot be rolled back. A later model-selection failure does not approve the plan, but the compacted context remains.
  • A custom model selection also asynchronously attempts to update the Host default model.
  • Automated tests do not cover the live DSH Web GUI, the production compaction summarizer, or real provider calls.
