First stable release, for Windows (x64) and macOS (Apple Silicon). Everything in 1.0.0-rc.1 below is
included; the macOS port is new.
Added
- macOS port (Apple Silicon, macOS 14+) — Metal render core, HAP and VideoToolbox decode, CoreAudio output,
Avalonia control panel, display refresh matching and a performance readout. Shipped as a DMG, signed with a
Developer ID (not yet notarized: right-click → Open on first launch). Intel Macs are deferred to 1.1. - Application icon on both platforms (
MultiMon.ico/MultiMon.icns), built from the final idents.
Changed
- Release kit is published without debug symbols.
Known limitations
- The real-Intel (QuickSync) acceptance pass, a multi-vendor rig of four or more screens, and a live audio
device-pull have not been run on hardware; Windows stability is verified on AMD and NVIDIA. - The Windows build is unsigned (SmartScreen warns on first run); the macOS build is signed but not notarized.
- The macOS DMG is the 1.0.0-rc.1 Mac build (source: tag
v1.0.0-rc.1-mac), so the app reports its version as
1.0.0-rc.1. A rebuild that reports 1.0.0 will follow. - Convert to HAP resolves FFmpeg from
PATH; FFmpeg is not bundled.
