Weekly preview of Syrinx for Windows 11 (x64), built from 53500b452374 on main.

This is an early, unsigned preview. Windows SmartScreen may warn before it runs.
Download the -setup.exe file, check it against SHA256SUMS.txt, then run
it: it installs Syrinx for your Windows user, and running a newer one later
updates that install. The zip is the same program for manual installs; see the
installation guide.

  • Record the owner's product map "Version A2" and align the service plans with it (#189)
  • Full-text: open the index in the app and keep it level with clears, restores and D40 (#53) (#186)

  • Close the palette on any click outside it, even when it never had the keys (#172) (#173)
  • Palette: the typed text is always the first row, and scattered matches rank last (#171)
  • Draw the sidebar peek in the theme's colours and halve the status bar (#164)
  • Plan paid services and included browser features (#163)
  • Palette: keep typed IP addresses and the owner's Go to choice (#127 review fixes) (#165)
  • Add a newcomer's map of the Cargo workspace (docs/architecture.md) (#166)
  • Record the owner's decision: Notes uses folders, database views move to a later plugin (#169)
  • Find: F3 and Ctrl G step Syrinx's bar; show n of m, Shift Enter and match case (#88, #82) (#114)
  • Tabs: mute a tab in the engine and keep it muted across recovery (#95, slice 3) (#117)
  • Audit wasmtime 48.0.7 and check the draft WIT loads (#27 pre-build checks) (#158)
  • Decisions: record the four choices settled by the 2026-10-24 merges (held for the owner) (#162)
  • Full-text: the tier-2 index adapter on Tantivy 0.27.0, first slice (#53) (#152)
  • Palette: a refreshed automatic choice stays on its row when the list reorders (#127)

  • Palette: Enter searches the web unless a row matches exactly (#127)
  • WebView2 update banner no longer reaches users, The weekly release no… (#87)

  • Keep the keys with the palette after New tab when a page had them (#14) (#116)
  • Move the keys to the chrome through one helper instead of seven copies (#84) (#112)

  • Review wry's cross-thread unsubclass on drop: Syrinx is not exposed (#83) (#108)
  • Route field subscriptions to the main window, not the last window that drew it (#81) (#107)
  • Name the settled-title write, not the running command, when it stops the worker (#77) (#106)
  • Close the palette and peek when a menu opens, so the menu stays open (#75) (#105)
  • Refuse usage files whose day count the encoder could never write (#79) (#104)

Engines

  • GPUI, which draws Syrinx's interface: 0.3.8
  • gpui-component: 0.7.1
  • wry, which drives the page web views: 0.57.0
  • webview2-com: 0.39.1
  • Microsoft Edge WebView2 runtime, which renders pages: tested on 155.0.4283.62.
Syrinx uses the runtime Windows keeps up to date, so yours may be newer.
