First public alpha of the FM-1 MIDI bridge: TRS MIDI IN and USB MIDI to Bluetooth LE MIDI and back, host mode for a BLE MIDI keyboard, and a small MIDI bench on the panel.

Alpha, tested on one FM-1 (Android and Linux; iOS and macOS untested). Read docs/install.md before installing: take the flash backup first, and have M-VAVE's FM-1.fwsc at hand to go back to stock.

  • fm1bridge-minimal.fwsc (FM-1_930): install this first; a status screen, USB MIDI and the updater, nothing else.
  • fm1bridge.fwsc (FM-1_931): the full bridge.
  • SHA256SUMS: check with sha256sum -c SHA256SUMS.

Verified on the unit: installs over V15 and over another community firmware (BackBeat 0.9), and installs either of them back over itself.

Known: M-VAVE's own updater (M-UPGRADE) has not been tried on top of the bridge (going back to stock is verified with Felucca's installer); the key matrix may differ on other production batches.

The packages carry Felucca's update loader (GPL-3), a separate program; its source: https://github.com/hugelton/Felucca/tree/v1.6/firmware/loader. Please report problems in Issues, with the web editor's Device log if the unit still answers.
