Help! My timer doesn't start! What to do?

Maybe there is an error reported by SoulSplitter. Open the settings:

And look for this icon to show errors:

That will open a list of errors, sometimes with a suggestion of how to fix the problem.

Game Time

Make sure to configure livesplit to compare against gametime:

Easy Anti-Cheat

Easy anti cheat must be disabled in order to use soulsplitter. To disable it, we have to create a textfile with the game's steamID in the game's folder.

Elden Ring

Navigate to the game s files: \steamapps\common\ELDEN RING\Game
Create (or download) a text file name steam_appid.txt (be careful that this file is not called steam_appid.txt.txt)
Put this number in the file and save it: 1245620
Launch the game from eldenring.exe (create a shortcut for convenience) directly to play offline with easy anti cheat disabled.
Launch the game from steam to play online and with easy anti cheat enabled.

Armored Core 6

Navigate to the games files: \steamapps\common\ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON\Game
Create (or download) a text file name steam_appid.txt (be careful that this file is not called steam_appid.txt.txt)
Put this number in the file and save it: 1888160
Launch the game from armoredcore6.exe (create a shortcut for convenience) directly to play offline with easy anti cheat disabled.
Launch the game from steam to play online and with easy anti cheat enabled.
