Go version support policy

Howdy team,

I see the Go version got bumped via #131

Can you please create a Go version support policy that ensures this is either:

a) n-1 support to match Go's release support policy.
b) The minimum version of Go supported by this library.

As an FYI - We run Go@n-1 for ecosystem stability reasons (enables external SAST, auto-dependency updates and other tooling support to catch up).

Just tried bumping our FA lib to 1.58.2 and CI caught fire 🔥🚒 😅

Thanks @matthewhartstonge! I merged the PR and tagged it with version 1.58.3-0.20250807161405-974b302a30f2, since I figure that you probably don't want to wait until our next official release for this to be fixed. 😄
