Расширенный режим: вторая ось — ширина / Extended mode: a second axis — width

В окне «Мастеры» галочка «Вторая ось — ширина (wdth)»: у каждого мастера насыщенность и ширина. Можно сделать Regular, Bold, Condensed и Bold Condensed — мастер в углу рисуется отдельно.

Смешивание идёт по той же модели, что в шрифтах OpenType: в редакторе, в просмотре, в экспорте начертаний и в вариативном шрифте получается одно и то же.

В просмотре два ползунка: wght и wdth.

Вариативный шрифт получает обе оси; в меню шрифтов появляются Condensed и Bold Condensed.

The Masters dialog has a "Second axis — width (wdth)" box: every master has a weight and a width. You can make Regular, Bold, Condensed and Bold Condensed — the corner master is drawn on its own.

Blending follows the same model as OpenType fonts: the editor, the preview, the style export and the variable font all agree.

The preview has two sliders: wght and wdth.

The variable font gets both axes; font menus list Condensed and Bold Condensed.
