v2.12.0
TradeTally v2.12.0 adds month filters, personalized AI analysis, bulk stop entry, and a Node.js 24 LTS runtime, alongside broker import, charting, API, and security improvements.
New features
- Month-based date filters across trade, analytics, cashflow, and investment views.
- Saved personal instructions for AI trade reviews and performance analysis, with image context for supported providers.
- Bulk stop-loss entry and streamlined risk/R-value handling.
- Notification category pagination.
Broker imports and sync
- Preserve intentional IBKR trade deletions across syncs and avoid duplicate split open positions.
- Correct IBKR option handling and execution-level fees.
- Support large forex quantities and TradingView forex quote-currency conversion.
- Recognize TradingView status-time exports, executed fill quantities, glued timestamps, and F.US. futures symbols. Keep index CFDs from receiving futures multipliers.
- Correct generic option contract P&L, recognize edited option transaction exports, and improve duplicate/unsupported-file diagnostics.
- Import supported Delta BTC/ETH order history with contract sizing, precise timestamps, and net fees. Unsupported products, partial orders, and inconsistent notionals receive explicit reasons.
Charts, widgets, and API
- Chart the complete trade window, validate daily window settings, and identify the chart data provider.
- Improve forex chart symbol handling across market-data providers.
- Keep dashboard daily moves consistent with quote freshness and market close.
- Resolve Gemini models against the models available to the configured key.
- Harden the v1 API and align OpenAPI documentation with actual responses.
- Update dependencies and address security findings; refine news thumbnails, scanner requests, and administrator import-log access.
Runtime and upgrading
- Docker images and CI now use Node.js 24.21.0 LTS. Native installations require Node.js 24.21.0 or newer; use the repository's
.nvmrcand updated native installation instructions. - Docker installations receive the runtime upgrade in the image. Both amd64 and arm64 are supported.
- Database migrations run automatically during normal startup. Back up your database before upgrading. Import fixes apply to future imports and do not automatically replay failed uploads or repair previously saved import results.
Validation
The combined release source passed 2,227 tests: 1,904 backend tests, 295 frontend tests, and 28 real PostgreSQL integration tests, with no failures or skips. The production frontend build also passed. The Node upgrade additionally passed full Docker builds, runtime smoke checks, and backend/integration tests on Linux amd64 and arm64; amd64 local testing used emulation. See the validation report for coverage and limits.
