Simple command-line stacktrace checker to help debug faster
Usage: checkout [OPTION] PATH:LINENUMBER
Options: -l, --length number of lines printed above and below
Edit the variables at the top of the 'checkout' file to either enable a default working directory or to change the default print length
Linux: grep, ack, sed
Ubuntu:
sudo apt install ack sed grep
Run the following commands ideally within your home directory
git clone https://github.com/GenericCPU/stacktrace-checker.git ~/stacktrace-checker
sudo chmod +x ~/stacktrace-checker/checkout
Then run using
~/stacktrace-checker/checkout /path/to/source/code:lineNumber
To access anywhere add the following line to the end of your .bashrc:
export PATH=$PATH:~/stacktrace-checker
If so run using
checkout /path/to/source/code:lineNumber
