Problems building docs: dvc pull error

In 2022 I had a problem getting the file GMT_RGBchart.pdf (see forum).

This was eventually fixed, but now I have the problem again, and dvc pull gives me this warning (see forum):

$ dvc pull

Here's a log of dvc pull --verbose &> dvc.log.
Looks like I'm getting 401 Unauthorized.

I think you need an DagsHub account to pull the baseline images.

1. Visit https://dagshub.com/GenericMappingTools/gmt
2. Click the "Remote" button, switch to "Data"->"DVC" tab, choose the "HTTP" protocol, then you should see instructions like below:

dvc remote modify origin --local auth basic 
dvc remote modify origin --local user <user>
dvc remote modify origin --local password <password>

Hmm, I did a

C:\progs_cygw\GMTdev\gmt5\master>dvc pull

Everything is up to date.

But that cannot be true. #8809 just updated two dvc files. So not Everything is up to date

Did you run git pull before that?

No, I hadn't, and not obvious why I should had. dvc pull pulls new files from the DVC and git pull from the GMT repo.

git pull fetches the latest .dvc files from the GMT git repo, while dvc pull needs the information in the .dvc files to know which files to fetch from the DVC repo.
