Installation

No installation required.

1. Download and extract the ZIP file.
2. Use a blank USB flash drive (recommended).
3. Copy the GS USB Runner executable onto the flash drive.
4. Double-click the executable on a Windows computer.
5. GS USB Runner automatically creates the folders needed for scripts, themes, and settings.

That's it. You're ready to start using GS Script.

About This Release

Version 1.1 includes the latest GhostStrats interface, improved script management, expanded educational guides, animated backgrounds, and performance improvements.

The application has also been optimized to reduce its file size while preserving its functionality.

Educational Use

GS USB Runner is completely free and intended for educational purposes and authorized automation.

It uses software-based keyboard and mouse simulation on Windows. A regular USB drive does not automatically execute scripts or act as a physical HID device.

GS USB Runner V1.2 introduces several improvements focused on reliability, transparency, and making GS Script easier for beginners to learn.

What's New in V1.2

Live Go → Windows Execution Trace

• The execution trace is now permanently enabled.
• Removed the option to turn it off.
• Users can see how GS Script communicates with the Go execution engine and Windows input system.
• Displays executed command types, line numbers, processing stages, delays, and build activity.
• The Clear Logs button remains available.

Protected Demonstration Scripts

• Official GhostStrats example scripts can no longer be overwritten.
• Users can experiment with examples and save personal copies.
• Added a reminder to save unsaved work before switching scripts.
• Users can select Save & Continue, Discard Changes, or Keep Editing.
• Reopening an official demonstration restores its original commands.

Quick Launch EXE Builder Improvements

Installation

1. Download the Windows ZIP and extract it.
2. Copy GS-USB-Runner.exe onto a USB flash drive. A blank drive is recommended.
3. Double-click the executable on a Windows computer.
4. GS USB Runner automatically creates the folders and settings needed to save your work.

To update from V1.1, simply replace the old executable while preserving your existing scripts, themes, and settings.

Educational Use

GS USB Runner is completely free and was created to help people learn HID-style keyboard and mouse automation through the beginner-friendly GS Script language.

It performs software-based automation on the computer running the application. An ordinary flash drive does not become a physical HID device.

Always review your scripts and use the application only on systems you own or are authorized to operate.
