Catenary 1.2.0

Your editor, your terminals and your agents in one window, talking to each other.

This release adds terminal history suggestions, makes the optional seven-day
Pro trial easier to find, and improves startup, file watching and communication
between agents. Free and Pro remain available; the product's source stays private.

Terminal

  • Faint inline suggestions from commands already run in this project, in
    PowerShell, cmd, bash and zsh. Right Arrow accepts the suggestion;
Ctrl+Right (Option+Right on macOS) accepts the next word. Tab stays your shell's.
  • Suggestions stay out of the way during commands and agents, and do not
overwrite existing text when you edit the middle of a command.

Agents and workspaces

  • Agents in the same checkout communicate without false cross-worktree
confirmations; different worktrees still require approval.
  • Long asks wait for answers, Codex replies return without truncation, and
Codex receives the extra paste-to-Enter delay even after a terminal rename.
  • Task actions explain how to add a missing Canvas instead of silently stopping.
  • Completed native messages keep 24 hours of recent history and idempotent retries.

Plans, editor and reliability

  • The seven-day Pro trial is visible in the Free limit notice and plans dialog,
with confirmation before starting and no card required.
  • Go, Rust, C and C++ use gopls, rust-analyzer or clangd from PATH for editor
features and the agents' shared LSP tools.
  • Startup delays old-runtime cleanup until the daemon is ready plus another
minute, preserves runtimes in use and cancels pending cleanup on exit.
  • File watching recovers after event overflow; terminal resizing, narrow-window
menus and multi-version What's New are corrected.
  • Privacy documentation describes launch retries for pending offline Pro seats
and the 30-day grace period; confirmed seats are verified locally.

Windows installation and affected workflows were tested by the maintainer.
Native macOS/Linux workflows and the full Go/Rust/C/C++ server exercise were not
manually validated in this round. Linux/macOS packages are built by the release CI.
