@andreasohlund there are two mechanisms to automatically create release notes? I was only aware of one. Could you elaborate? Thanks!

Nothing automated so far (we're automating it for other projects though).
I'm talking about:

@andreasohlund Ah, I see what you are getting at. The reason I updated the releasenotes.md is because this is where the Chocolatey nuspec file (that I updated) points at it:

http://chocolatey.org/packages/GitVersion.Portable

This could easily be pointed here:

https://github.com/Particular/GitVersion/releases

If you didn't want the additional admin overhead. Having "one source of truth" definitely makes sense.
